• Government of India Post-Metric Scholarships are made available to Karnataka students belonging to the SC/ ST community. These candidates should also have an annual parental income less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.
• Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Merit Scholarship is offered to students, who have secured 1 to 5 ranks in previous qualifying degree exams and belong below the poverty line. The scholarship amount is INR 500 per month for 10 months in each year of the course.

For admission to a UG Diploma course, an aspirant must be a Class 12 or equivalent exam pass. Candidate should have passed the exam from a recognised board. Moreover, it is also necessary that the student hold the pass certificate and mark sheet for verification purposes. The documents must be submitted to the university or the candidate is considered ineligible.

Bangalore University houses 45+ PG departments, one postgraduate centre at Kolar, four university colleges, and other affiliated colleges and several other Centres and Directorates of higher learning and research under its purview.
