 5147+ patents have been filed since its establishment in 2012, Chandigarh University stands as the No.1 University in filing patents.  Chandigarh University holds the top position in research publications, with over 20,000 total publications, as per Scopus. Chandigarh University tops the list with 32+ Centers of Excellence (COE), 60 Research Centers (67 Funded Projects Ongoing), and 15 Crores Annual Research Budget.

 

Chandigarh University has more than 250 research collaborations with top-ranked universities in more than 60 countries. The university also leaves no stone unturned in providing its faculty, alumni, and students with the support and resources needed to launch their ventures. Ranked #34 among the best universities for research in India, Chandigarh University is recognised as a proud hub of researchers, with Dr. Jashanpreet Singh (Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering), who has published 90+ research papers with key contributions in thermal spray coatings and tribology; Dr. Meet Kumari (Assistant Professor, ECE), author of 120+ research articles with significant contributions in Photonics, Optical Communication Networks; Dr. Mohammad Ashfaq (Assistant Professor, UCRD), who has written 91+ Research Articles with key contributions in Nanotechnology & Biomedical Applications; and Dr. Mehtab Singh (Assistant Professor, ECE), who has published 150+ Research Papers with notable work in optical communication systems & photonic radars.

  • Batch size (Pharma UG+PG combined): 250–300 students

  • Placed: 159 students
     So:

  • The majority get opportunities, but not all

  • Some students:

    • Go for higher studies

    • Or search for off-campus jobs
