GNLU Gandhinagar Cutoff 2025: Check Category-wise CLAT Cutoff Ranks

NLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the qualifying cutoffs for various categories under both the Home State and All India quota. These categories included, the General, OBC, SC, etc. The cutoff was released for admission to various undergraduate (BA LLB (Hons) ) and postgraduate (LLM) courses at GNLU, Gandhinagar campus as well as at the affiliated Silvassa campus. The GNLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutoff 2025 was released for 2 rounds only. 

For the General AI category, the lowest cutoff was for LLM courses, as the cutoff ranged from 387 to 565, in the first and last round, respectively at GNLU Gandhinagar. To know more information about other courses, categories, quotas and rounds at the two campuses, go through the entire article. 

NLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutof 2025 for the General AI Category

For the General AI category, the NLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BA LLB (Hons), LLM course and its various specialisations, and Master of Law courses and BA LLB (Hons) course at the affiliated GNLU Silvassa campus.

For LLM course specialisations at Gandhinagar campus the cutoff was 565 in the last round. For admissions to the GNLU Silvassa campus, the cutoff in same round for the same course was 2004, indicating that the Silvassa campus has a more lenient cutoff in the last round as compared to the Gandhinagar campus.

NLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutof 2025 for the OBC AI Category

The CLAT Cutoff was released for the NLU Gandhinagar and the Silvassa campus, both for admission to the UG and PG level law courses for all rounds. Students can refer to the table below to view the first and last round ranks for 2025 for the OBC AI Category. 

Comparing both the courses at both campuses, we can say that the cutoff for the both the,  BA LLB( Hons) course and LLM course was more wider and more inclusive than the Gandhinagar campus. In the Gandhinagar campus, students had to secure a rank ranging below or near 2303 and 1838 to get admissions for the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM course, respectively, while in the Silvassa campus, students with a rank of more than 3800 and 3600 could also avail admissions for the UG and PG law courses. This is the same trend as seen in the General AI category.

NLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutof 2025 for the SC AI Category

Students should know the lower the cutoff is, the higher the competiton. So, going by this rule, we can confidently say that the LLM course was more competitive for admission in the last round, with a more lower cutoff of 3079 and 5291 at the Gandhinagar and Silvassa campus, respectively. NLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutof 2025 for the ST AI Category

Unlike all the other categories in the AI quota where the cutoff was released for both the UG and PG level courses at Gandhinagar campus, for this category, the cutoff was only released for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) course. Although at the Silvassa campus, the cutoff was announced for both the LLM and BA LLB (Hons) programme. Analysing the cutoff pattern for LLM course, we can see that the cutoff was the same in both the first and last round, at 6240, meaning that all the seats were filled in the intital round itself, with it being the most sough-after course for the ST All India category candidates.

NLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutof 2025 for the PWD AI Category

Unlike the ST AI Category, this category candidates faced the same NLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutoff not for LLM course at Silvassa campus, but for the BA LLB (Hons) course. The first and last round cutoff was 32553, in both the first and last rounds. Although going by the last round cutoff ranks for the Silvassa campus, LLM course was more sought-after with a lower cutoff of 14003, than compared to the BA LLB (Hons) course cutoff at 32553. NLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutof 2025 for the EWS AI Category

The table given below provides the cutoff for the Economically Weaker Section category students who belong to the All India quota. The cutoff for this category was released for the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM course specialisations, like LLM in Corporate and Business Law, LLM in International Comparative Law, LLM in Criminal and Security Law, etc., at both the Gandhinagar and the Silvassa campus. For the BA LLB (Hons) course the first and last round cutoff ranged between 1118 and 1263 at the Gandhinagar campus, while at other campus, the same course cutoff saw a range between 1921 and 2620, indicating that the initially mentioned campus cutoff was more competitive than the later. 

NLU Gandhinagar CLAT Cutof 2025 for the Home State Category 

Similarily to the All India quota, the cutoff for admission to various UG and PG level courses was also released for admission for the Home State quota. In this quota, the cutoff was only released for the General, OBC, SC categories. While the cutoff was released for both the BA LLB (Hons) and the LLM course for both the General and OBC category at the GNLU campus at Gandhinagar as well as for Silvassa campus admission. However, for the SC HS category, the cutoff was only released for LLM course at Gandhinagar and only BA LLB (Hons) course at the Silvassa campus. 

Going as per the last round cutoff for the BA LLB (Hons) course, the OBC Category faced a higher competition for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) course at the GNLU Gandhinagar campus than the General HS cateory, as the cutoff for the General HS was 2609, while for the OBC HS, it was 2153.
