Mumbai University has announced semester results 2025 for various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, such as MCA, BSc, BE/ BTech, MA and MSc. Students who have taken the exams of these respective courses can check their results by visiting the official website of Mumbai University and clicking on the Examination tab on the homepage. After that, candidates can click on the results icon, followed by selecting the course. Candidates can download the scorecard pdf on the screen to view the result.

Q:   Is there an entrance exam for MA at Mumbai University?
A:

No, the university does not conduct or accept any entrance exam for MA admission. Candidates seeking admission are only required to submit the pre-enrollment form along with the application form to get admission. However, for a few MA courses, the University/ MU-affiliated college conducts a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) after the written test. Selected candidates, who find their names in their merit lists released by the University, are required to appear for a document verification process to confirm their seat. Q:   Can I join MBA directly at Mumbai University?
A:

No, direct admission is not available at Mumbai University. In order to pursue MBA from an MU-affiliated college, the selection is based on merit scores obtained by the students in one among MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, MAH CET, ATMA, GMAT, NMAT, SNAP, SMAT exams accepted by the various affiliated colleges of MU.

Q:   What is Mumbai University cutoff?

The Mumbai University accepts JEE Main exam for the admission to BE and BE Integrated courses. Considering the Mumbai University cutoff 2024, the rank were released till Round 3 seat allotment. As per Mumbai University cutoff 2024, BTech in Computer Engineering stood closed at 10911 for Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, at 14262 for Dwarkadas J. Mumbai University Result Revaluation 2025

Mumbai University Revaluation/ Verification/ Being the largest university with lakhs of students writing exams every year, the university also has the facility of Revaluation/ Verification of the answer copies. Students can get a printout of their answer sheets once the result is announced by the university.

Students not satisfied with their results can also apply for the revaluation of their answer sheets. Q:   What is the 75% attendance rule at Mumbai University?
A:

Like any other Institution/University maintaining an attendance of 75% is mandatory for the students at Mumbai University. The University has its own Attendance Committee, for the smooth conduct of this ordinance in every Department. As per the Attendance Ordinance, candidates must maintain at least 75% attendance for each course & average attendance. If the students fail to maintain the number, the department/college doesn’t forward the examination form to the University exam unit. However, a minimum attendance of 50% is considered in special cases like health issues, family losses, etc.
