Average college for B.Tech in North East India, Placement is not upto the mark.

Placements: Placement of the college is below average. Highly dissatisfied with the college Training and Placement Cell. There is an immediate need of reform the college Training and Placement Cell. Only 20-30% students of our batch got placed I. e. from off campus drives mostly.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. Good hostel and classroom facilities with 24*7 Wi-Fi connectivity. But the food taste in hostels damn bad with the worst quality except dinner. There are many good canteens and restaurants available in the campus with high quality food in cheap price.

Faculty: Great curriculum ! Subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Fuzzy Logic etc. Included in our syllabus and the final projects are given to us in the field of Web Designing, IoT, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Need to improve teaching quality and effectiveness of some teachers.

Other: Good amount of scholarship provided for the students of ST, SC and OBC category. General category students also can apply for the Inhan Uday scholarship which is a special scholarship scheme for the students of north eastern region. But the college is not upto the mark for the extra curricular activities and other exposure.

A good college to start with.

Placements: I was the student coordinator of the placement cell of my batch and this time many companies came like TCS, Cognizant, WIPRO, Capgemini, Regalix, Infosys, etc. And around 40-50% got placed. During my senior batch also, the placement was good enough. The salary ranges from 3.6 LPA to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our University is awesome. The whole campus has the Wi-Fi connectivity. There are separate labs for the subjects with the LAN connection. The hostel is like our second home and you will enjoy a lot. The quality of food in the canteen was average but therw are restaurants inside the campus whkse food is reaaly very great.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college is nice. The teachers are like our feiends and are very supportive. Some of my friends got their project patented while working under different faculty members. The course they taught us from the very beginning till the end is well organised.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, a language, one from the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology /Technical Vocational subject, and any subject other than the above four subjects in year 2024, 2025. Candidates must have secured the mentioned aggregate marks of these five subjects in the Class 12th examination (PwD candidates should score at least 65% marks) or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12th examination conducted by respective Boards. Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2026, are also eligible.
