I am somewhat satisfied with the college hostel and infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is less than 20%. The lowest package offered is 3.5 LPA and the highest package offered is 8 LPA. The average package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Cognizant, Amazon, L&T, etc. The percentage of students who got internships is below 20%. Students got internships in companies like CTS and various other companies. The top roles offered by our course are software engineering, data analysis, and various other roles.
Infrastructure: Our department has various labs and classrooms. The quality of infrastructure in the hostel is pretty good and other facilities are pretty good. The mess and canteen are good. Medical facilities are good. It does not give much importance to sports.
Faculty: Semester exams are not very difficult. 40% is the pass percentage. Faculty members give marks randomly. We will be surprised when we get our results. We could not imagine. We might write well but we might get different results. In other cases, we might have written very badly, but the results might be good.

Students can get a degree from here but can't get skills.
Placements: Some students get placed, but many students do not get placed. They said to fill out forms for placements but most of the companies in the forms are not coming to hire. Most of the interview results are not coming. If some students get selected, then offer letters are not given.
Infrastructure: The library is good enough. There is no Wi-Fi. Labs are average, and classrooms are average. It puts boards everywhere as fully it is Wi-Fi enabled campus but that's not true. The atmosphere is green and good. There is no food. Labs are available with AC. The hostel food and hostel atmosphere are good enough. There is no proper sports guidance.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. Most of the teachers do not know what they teach. Some professors are very strong in teaching and good enough. I would rate only 3 out of 5 stars for the faculty members, curriculum, and exams. Here, exams are on a proper time. To prepare for exams, they conduct CAT continuous assessment tests 2 times per semester, and it makes it easy to prepare for semester exams.
Other: It is located in the main area near KCBT's new Bus stand opposite Vandalur Zoo. A lot of bus services are available 24x7.

It provided average placements in 2025. It has a great and lush green campus.
Placements: I am from the 2021-2025 batch. There are 3 divisions of class for the computer science. It has 195 students overall. The average percentage of students who got placed is around 65%. The lowest package is 2 LPA and the highest package is 9 LPA. Companies like CTS, Cognizant, and Accenture hire students. Roles like trainee and HR are offered here.
Infrastructure: There are no complaints about the infrastructure and food. Classrooms and area are well-maintained. Labs are great, and Wi-Fi is good. We get non-veg food for 3 days a week, and there are no complaints. There is a daily cleaning. Restrooms and toilets are good.
Faculty: Teachers are really well-trained and they are friendly to students. Teachers helped students in many ways. In exams, papers are not tough if we have listened to the class. Many students can clear the paper without any problems.
Other: I chose this course because my parents told me to, but still, it is good. I got to choose this course, for the upcoming era as computers and AI is everywhere. There can be some improvements in courses and teach some things deep as many courses teach only boundaries. The college offers many events over the 4 years. Different branches have their own event both tech and non-tech-related events. Monthly, there are fests in hostels.

Satisfied with the college.
Placements: The college life was quite good with the environment, and the placement was not that much good enough; about 40 percent of students are getting placed in certain courses. The highest package could be 6 LPA last year. The companies that are recruiting here are Amazon, HP, and more others. The top roles offered here are web developer, software developer, app developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was really good for the students to provide useful and there are more than many good buildings with great technology, and students are provided with greater comfort than at other colleges, and it also provides free Wi-Fi connection all over the university and high-tech labs and classrooms with smart classes, and the library system is also available, and in the hostel, it's been providing good quality food in the mess, medical facilities are provided, and sports are also provided.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in teaching, also in the research, and they were so knowledgeable they have been creating the students ready for the industry by teaching the course. The semester exams are moderate with good questions, and the pass percentage was 80 to 90%.
Other: I was so interested in this computer science course that I took a role in it. Could likely improve better practical explanation. The university provides a lot of events, fests, and having a mass crowd of students, the college is surrounded with good nature and also provides good scholarships and extracurricular activities.

A balanced college experience.
Placements: Percentage of students in my course getting placed is approximately 70%-80%. The highest salary package offered to a CSE student in my course was 37 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. About 90% of students received internships from companies like Wipro, Infosys, and HCL. Top roles offered included Software Developer, Data Analyst, and similar positions.
Infrastructure: Campus offers Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the department. Our department is equipped with well-maintained labs that support practical learning. Classrooms are equipped with modern amenities such as projectors. Department library also has a wide range of books.
Faculty: Majority of the faculty members are very approachable, supportive, and fair, although some teachers tend to favor certain students. Course curriculum is designed to align with current industry standards. While the exams are challenging, consistent study habits help students perform well. The pass percentage is above 50% out of 100%.

A brief experience of my college.
Placements: Now the placements have started, and some students got placed in TCS, Wipro, and other companies, but there are more placements to come. The average salary package is 5 LPA, and the least package is 3 LPA so far. Companies like Amazon and other top MNCs are still expected to come.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is awesome and good-looking, with a green campus environment. The WiFi is slow, but we can access good-speed internet in some places like labs and the canteen. I'm not a hostel student, but my friends are, and they have mentioned the food is good.
Faculty: Our college faculty are very friendly and educated; they never pressure us. The quality of teaching is excellent, and the course curriculum is okay for me because I took BTech CSE Cybersecurity, but mostly I study CSE, with only 20% focused on cybersecurity.

The college campus is peaceful and comfortable to student.
Placements: The placement record for our course is very good. Last year, 88 percent of students were placed. This year, we expect the placement percentage to increase to over 90 percent. The highest package offered was 8 lakhs, the lowest was 2 lakhs and the average package was 4 lakhs.
Infrastructure: Our college has separate hostels for boys and girls. The boy's hostel has five blocks. Hostel facilities include free WiFi, free laundry, cycle service, free gym, a computer center and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Non-vegetarian meals are served six days a week. Electricity is available 24 hours a day with generator backup.
Faculty: The staff is very friendly and skilled and they're always willing to help us with our coursework and career building. The curriculum is more focused on practical learning than theoretical which is perfect for the B.Tech course that we're studying. The semesters are fairly easy, and the pass percentage is 45.
Other: I chose this course because I believe that in the future, everything will be in the hands of AI. So I am preparing for that future by taking this course. I am a member of the 2022-2026 batch. While I am satisfied with the course, I think the college could improve its infrastructure. Also, I would like to see more cultural events, such as the Orion festival, which is held in February.

I'm really satisfied with the college and supportive faculty members and good infrastructures .
Placements: Placement is good, salary range 3 LPA to 12 LPA. Most students are getting placed by college, hired by companies that visit the campus, and the college is very supportive.
Infrastructure: Crescent College is good for engineering. Labs are neatly maintained, classrooms are not bad but okay, and the library is well maintained. It is not great for sports, and Wi-Fi is very bad. Hostel food is okay, and rooms are average. Medical facilities are good, food is worth the money and value for what you pay.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Students can contact the faculty members using WhatsApp for doubts and clarification. Semester exams are not very difficult and are based on class teachings, with 80% passing.
Other: I am very passionate about engineering, and I really like Crescent College. In my opinion, friendly people and campus life are pretty good, though Wi-Fi is poor.

Hello Althaf, The admission into B. S. Abdur Rahman University is based on the scores in BSAUEEE or JEE Mains. This is the only admission procedure. Other than that, I think there is no way to get admission as I doubt that there is no management quota. You may contact the admin for more details
