Bangalore University offers courses in Management, Science, Arts, and Commerce at UG, PG, and Diploma levels. Some popular courses offered at Bangalore University are BTech, BSc, BCom, MA, MBA, etc. The university accepts students either on a merit basis or based on a valid score in the relevant entrance for courses such as MBA and BAMS. It offers over fifty-five programmes across various streams and specialisations. All these are offered by the main campus of Bangalore University, JB campus, PG Centre Ramanagar and other affiliated colleges.

Bangalore University's application is completely online. You can apply for the course by following steps mentioned below:

1. Visit the official website of the University and click on ‘Student’s Corner’.
2. Now, click on ‘Admission’ followed by clicking on the desired course level.
3. A link to the online application will be available at the end of the page in case the applications are open.
4. Register as a new user.
5. Log in with the credentials and fill out the application form.
6. Complete the process and pay the application fee to submit the application form.

Bangalore University offers multiple scholarship schemes to its students. Eligible students can apply for any the following scholarships offered at the university:

• Government India's Post-Metric Scholarships are offered to Karnataka students belonging to the SC/ST category. These candidates must also have an annual parental income of less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakhs.
• The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Merit Scholarship is available to students who have ranked 1 to 5 in prior qualifying degree exams and are below the poverty line. The scholarship is worth INR 500 per month for ten months during each year of the education.
• UGC offers a Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship to a girl child who is either the only child or a twin daughter in the family.
