For admission to BSc courses, candidate should have passed two-year PU exam conducted by the Karnataka PU Education Board or equivalent. For BSc in Design stream, candidates who have studied two years Job Oriented Courses conducted by the Board of Vocational Education of any state government or any other examination are also eligible. To pass the Bangalore University MBA internal exams, candidates need to clear the theory exam and internal assessment. Candidate shall score a minimum of 35% aggregate in the university exam (25 marks out of 70 marks in the theory exam) and 40% aggregate (total of university exam and internal assessment) in each subject to pass a subject exam. For admission to a UG Diploma course, an aspirant must be a Class 12 or equivalent exam pass. Candidate should have passed the exam from a recognised board. Moreover, it is also necessary that the student hold the pass certificate and mark sheet for verification purposes. The documents must be submitted to the university or the candidate is considered ineligible.

6. Complete the process & pay the application fee to submit the application form.

The university allows candidates to cancel their admission within 10 days of counselling. Candidates have to get in touch with the Bangalore University admission office for the same. Moreover, a few documents such as an original provisional admission card, fee receipt, and an application for cancellation and refund with correspondence address have to be submitted. Only after the successful submission of the documents, a refund is processed.

• Government of India Post-Metric Scholarships are made available to Karnataka students belonging to the SC/ ST community. These candidates should also have an annual parental income less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.
• Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Merit Scholarship is offered to students, who have secured 1 to 5 ranks in previous qualifying degree exams and belong below the poverty line. The scholarship amount is INR 500 per month for 10 months in each year of the course.
