Good practicals exposure.

Placements: Actually, placements were really poor particularly in this stream due to the least availability of the private companies. Since government companies will not come forward to any universities even in IITs, the only chance for job lovers is better try to go to some internship abroad or in India and try to stick with that and so with some little experience you can able to accommodate your industry skills in any huge companies.

Infrastructure: Practical side it is well appreciated and good to go whereas computational side I will not recommend this due to lack of high-speed high power systems which is the must for simulations part. All types of sports are well appreciated and there is a separate event and club for hoisting it. 24*7 medical services is there in the campus and completely secured place. In each corner, there will be securities so no need to worry about the safety part.

Faculty: Course curriculum is useful to your further research as well since they are giving a brush up on all basics topics of this stream and industry exposures used to happen sometimes. Lab courses are really worth it because from the scrap they will make you train how to analyse and how to work on practical part.

Other: College cultural will be good and the environment will be really awesome. But for the south Indians it is quite difficult to stay in Ranchi due to very less availability of South Indians restaurants.

Candidates passed MCA/ M.Sc. in Physics/ Mathematics with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST), after graduating with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in 10+2+3 system from a recognized University are also eligible to apply.

Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance-learning programs are eligible only if:
(a) the programs are recognized by the tripartite panel of AICTE-UGC-DEC,
(b) they have passed the qualifying examination at the time of applying, with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in average. They must bring the original pass certificate, mark sheets of qualifying examination, and proof that the program is recognized by the AICTE-UGC-DEC in the letterhead of the Institute / College / University with their application form at the time of reporting for test and counseling/interview.

Appearing candidates in distance learning programs, whose results are yet to be declared, are not eligible to apply.

Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview based on the score obtained in GATE. Candidates who have not appeared for GATE would be shortlisted for personal interview based on marks obtained in written test conducted by the college.

Candidates are selected based on GATE score or written test conducted by the college, previous academic record and performance in Personal Interview. Maximum weightage is given to marks obtained in GATE or written test, followed by the performance in PI and previous academic record.
