Candidate must have passed B.E./ B.Tech. in any relevant discipline Aeronautical Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Polymer Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Production and Industrial Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation or equivalent with the mentioned marks in average from a recognized University/Institute.
Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor’s program in 2023 can also apply.
Candidates passed MCA/ M.Sc. in Physics/ Mathematics with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST), after graduating with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in 10+2+3 system from a recognized University are also eligible to apply.
Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance-learning programs are eligible only if:
(a) the programs are recognized by the tripartite panel of AICTE-UGC-DEC,
(b) they have passed the qualifying examination at the time of applying, with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in average. They must bring the original pass certificate, mark sheets of qualifying examination, and proof that the program is recognized by the AICTE-UGC-DEC in the letterhead of the Institute / College / University with their application form at the time of reporting for test and counseling/interview.
Appearing candidates in distance learning programs, whose results are yet to be declared, are not eligible to apply.
