The Best college to join. Absolutely amazing facilities and top-class faculty.
Placements: The department collaborates with foreign institutions such as Yunnan University and the New School in New York. Students now have more options to take part in research projects, internships, and exchange programs. The show focuses on development, corruption, and the involvement of multinational corporations, among other elements of South and South-East Asia. Candidates for the program must have a minimum of 55% in their graduate degree marks. The department places a strong emphasis on research and international collaboration, thus graduates should have no trouble finding employment in their chosen subject, even though particular placement records are not available.
Infrastructure: This university has excellent infrastructure and a well-kept campus. Along with other departmental fests, the yearly campus fest, Nexus, takes place from December to March. Many of the books and diaries needed for self-study and the curriculum are kept in the college library. Departmental libraries are also available. There are provisions for smart classes. Regular sporting competitions take place, mostly within departments and occasionally between colleges. Children from disadvantaged backgrounds receive free study materials, clothing, food, and education from the social service organization Roddur.
Faculty: Our coursework equips us for careers in business and research. Usually, 80–90 students can fit into one class, which guarantees a reasonable teacher–to-student ratio that promotes learning. One of the best professors of the modern era is Dr. Lipi Ghosh, the head of our department. The instructors are very talented and thrive at giving thorough, understandable education. Students respond favorably to their instructional strategies because they find them to be encouraging and interesting. The college's instructors are personable and transparent in their interactions. The instructors are committed to assisting pupils in comprehending the subject matter, offering comprehensive clarifications, and attending to any queries or worries. We have four semesters of this course, with research papers, presentations, and dissertations as part of the assessments.

Absolutely satisfied with the top notch faculty and world class facilities of the campus.
Placements: Although placements for this course are quite low and many students don't expect placements, the University of Calcutta has a lot of placement relationships. In political science, 235 students are given opportunities annually. Through a specialised Placement and Training Cell, the college provides virtually all of its students with placement possibilities. Comprehensive resources are available from this cell, such as details on preparation tours, placement offers, and career counselling. The placement procedure is available to all students, and candidates are chosen on the basis of their performance in interviews, which assesses their qualifications for positions. In order to improve students' interviewing abilities and employment opportunities, the cell also arranges training sessions, workshops, and mock interviews.
Infrastructure: Both on campus and in the dorms, students have access to Wi-Fi. The college offers book-stocked libraries that are accessible with ID cards. Three student hostels are available at the college: two for boys and one for girls. In both hostels, girls share rooms while boys have private rooms. In the hostels for boys and girls, meals are served twice daily and four times daily, respectively. The distance between a student's house and the college determines how long they have to register for a hostel; students who live farther away are given preference. The cost of the hostel is reasonable and can be split into two payments every five months. The equipment for botany is all there, and the labs are spotless.
Faculty: I believe that the ratio of two professors to every 100 pupils is sufficient. A large number of the teachers hold PhDs. One month before the internal exams, class assessments are conducted, which facilitates the identification of any deficiencies. Because of the teachers' problem-based approach, there is little possibility of running into any syllabus-related issues that are entirely hidden. Considering the extra effort that the teachers put in to help us prepare for our jobs, the engagement between the professors and students is commendable. Additionally, the availability of laptops and projectors in the classroom has made learning even easier for the pupils.
