CGC University is Gen Z University.
Placements: The placement in our college is very decent. Faculty is very supportive. Our IOT batch is the first batch, and they are helping us a lot so we can have the best placement opportunities. Recruiters from big companies like Adobe, IBM, and Capgemini come to our college.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college are very decent, with smart classrooms, air-conditioned labs, and a library. Also, our hostel feels like home, with very tasty food similar to home. RO clean water, very hygienic washrooms and bathrooms, and very spacious rooms are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and their guidance for our placement opportunities is very clear. They are highly educated in their own subjects. Hackathons and industry visits are held on a regular basis, so we are also ready for industry exposure.
Other: We are the first batch of B.Tech Internet of Things. I personally wanted to study Internet of Things because, in today’s time, every company requires it in their field.

Our university (CGC) is the best.
Placements: The placement opportunities in our course are very good. Most companies are invited for better placements. The highest package goes up to 1 crore. The lowest goes up to 5–6 LPA. Top companies like KPMG, Adobe, and IBM visit the campus. Almost 80–85% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. The chairs and tables are comfortable and relaxing. Wi-Fi speed is up to 1000 Mbps, and all work is completed very fast. The library contains all the books needed for studying and gaining knowledge. The hostel's food quality is also very good.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best. Placement teachers are very supportive and friendly. They guide us on how to do things, teach us well, and clear our doubts calmly. Regular tests are conducted to revise topics through PPTs, real-life examples, and practical lab sessions. Exams are very easy if the topics are cleared in class.

CGC University is value for money and better than most private colleges.
Placements: Placements are good. Many reputed companies visit the college for recruitment. They offer job roles such as Software Engineer, AI Engineer, and ML Engineer. The average package is around 8 LPA, and the highest package is 1 LPA. Top companies visiting the college include Adobe and Capgemini.
Infrastructure: College has well-equipped labs. Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. There are six libraries on campus, including a central library that remains open until 8 PM. The hostels are well-maintained and provide hygienic food. There is also a 24-hour dispensary on campus.
Faculty: Professors are cooperative and understanding. They have good subject knowledge as well as industry exposure. The course curriculum is quite industry-relevant, and subjects like AI are taught from the early semesters. Mid-semester exams are easy, while end-semester exams are a bit hard, but students can pass easily by paying attention in class.
Other: I chose IoT because it interests me. The course is highly industry-relevant. University also hosts a grand annual fest called Saviaskar.

Satisfied with the college facilities, infrastructure, and record of placements to date.
Placements: I don't know about the placements, but the estimate I can tell is probably like 50%-60% of students. The highest package is 1 crore per annum, and the average package is 6 LPA-7 LPA. For internship opportunities, students should seek or find internships, but college provides some, but not for everyone.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good. Labs and libraries are good in all departments. The hostels are average, and the food is also average. For sports, they provide all game trials at the start of the semester. I like football, so they give that and you can take any sports items for playing from the sports department.
Faculty: Teaching quality is average, not that good. I feel like in college, you have to study by yourself if you want a good score, but college teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable. The semester exams are not that difficult if you concentrate in class, or you can also start learning or revising one week before the exam, and you can score well.

Value of money, and helpful staff.
Placements: About 80% of students get placed in my course; the lowest package is 2 lakhs, and the highest goes up to 50 LPA. The recruiting companies include Google and Microsoft, among others. Additionally, 40% of students get internships in their third year, and the main role offered is that of a software engineer. However, students need to apply off-campus due to competition.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but there are no air-conditioned classrooms; AC is provided only in the lab. Many facilities are available in our college, like labs and workshops, but the quality of food in the hostel is sometimes not good, and there are not many gaming opportunities.
Faculty: The teachers in my college are very educated and helpful. At the same time, they provide us with notes and assist us considerably. According to me, we have a DCPD subject in which they train us for interviews and prepare students for the industry. The semester and end-semester exams come from PTU University, and they range from hard to medium difficulty.
Other: I chose CSE because it is always in demand, and after this, we have a lot of opportunities to secure software engineering jobs. Regarding events, a lot of events have been conducted in our college. I think this is not good.

CGC Jhanjeri has great infrastructure and modern development
Placements: Prestigious colleges like CGC Jhanjeri offered about 90 to 100% placements for students enrolled in B.Tech CSE. The highest package is 45 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Top companies for our course include Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, and Google. Internships are offered to around 70-90% of students.
Infrastructure: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, offered modern infrastructure and facilities for students. The campus area is spread over 70 acres, with academic blocks, a well-equipped library, etc. A well-lit environment is offered in CGC Jhanjeri hostels. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls, with 24x7 electricity, ambulance services, a hostel clinic, etc.
Faculty: Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri (CGC-J) was often known for its quality education because of its well-qualified teachers. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready by teaching them in workshops. The semester exam difficulty level is up to students. Otherwise, it is good.
Other: The B.Tech CSE provides practical and theoretical knowledge in both hardware and software fields, so I chose it. Improvements in the course include an updated course curriculum, including emerging topics like blockchain, etc. Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri hosts various events like Education Conclaves, the 8th annual sports named Fiesta, and CMPA 2025. Scholarships worth 2 crores are offered through CGCUET. It is building careers and transforming lives.

Good infrastructure and facilities, but faculty members and placements need improvement.
Placements: Placement rates vary, but around 60-80% of students get placed. Packages range from 3 LPA (the lowest) to 12+ LPA (the highest), with an average of 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and HCL. More than 50% of students secure internships in IT firms, with roles like cybersecurity analyst, SOC analyst, and penetration tester.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a library with good resources. The hostel offers decent rooms, but the food quality in mess is average. Medical facilities are available but basic. Sports facilities exist, but equipment needs improvement.
Faculty: In my class teachers are very helpful and supportive of me. The exam is very easy I think. It makes a student ready for the upcoming future in their field. Because the syllabus is good and helpful for students to innovate to become something special and interesting. All the reviews of colleges are good as compared to other colleges. With this type of infrastructure, I think the college is very good.
Other: My course is very good and it will be helpful in the future. Basically, I am from a service security background, and all over the demand for force is very high. College is little bit supporting me to innovate or become something special.
