Honest talk about Chandigarh University.
Placements: Around 90 percent of the students get placed in good MNCs. The highest package is around 50 LPA, the average package would be around 4 LPA, and the minimum is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are TCS, Amazon, Dell, etc. 90 percent of students get placed. Top roles are software engineer roles, web developer, sales.
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University is known for its world-class facilities, you name it and we have it. Each lab, library, and class is installed with AC, projector, computers, and Wi-Fi. I didn’t stay in the hostel in my college life, but as far as I heard from my friend, it’s good. You get good facilities there like good Wi-Fi, coolers, gym, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are really good there in Chandigarh. Don’t try to play with them else you'd screw your attendance. I always maintained good relations with them, which helped me to get free attendance and good internal marks. Teachers are good but students are bad, so you have to study on your own. Course is relevant, you learn core subjects from teachers like DSA, OOPS, etc. Semester exams are easy, I never studied for them but used to bag around 70–80 percent marks.
Other: I am always fascinated by computer science and technology, that’s why I took this course. This course helps you improve your problem-solving skills and build something meaningful that real people can use. CU is also known for its fests and extracurricular activities, you just have to manage your time to participate in them with your studies.

Some things are good here, it depends on what things you are comfortable with.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is good, like 30-40% on average. There are some companies that only take 1-2 students, and a few companies are on mass recruiting, but their packages are of a low amount. There are different roles offered by every company. You get to know about companies on a prior basis.
Infrastructure: Talking about the facilities and infrastructure in some buildings or blocks, it's very good. But talking personally about my block, it's not so well built. They do have AC, but they are always leaking. Wi-Fi don't work on several floors. The quality of food is like 3/10, it feels like we are eating something, but we don't know what.
Faculty: The teachers were qualified but not knowledgeable, according to their qualifications and the position they hold. Some teachers are too good, like they are very helpful in nature. Also, the course curriculum is relevant most of the time, but sometimes it does get irrelevant. Semester exams are tough because what you study will never come up in the exam.

Best infrastructure, but average hostel mess.
Placements: According to students, around 80-90 percent of eligible CSE/AI-ML students sit for placement drives. Students with stronger performance, more than a CGPA of 7.5, achieve nearly 100 percent placement. The highest package is around 50 LPA-54 LPA, the average package ranges between 5 LPA-9 LPA, and the lowest package is approximately 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Amazon, TCS, IBM, and Microsoft. Top roles are data architect, machine learning analyst, and information security analyst.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent with modern labs, smart classrooms, 24/7 Wi-Fi, and a digital library. Hostels are clean and secure with good facilities. Medical and sports amenities are good. The only drawback is the hostel mess food, which is hygienic but average in taste and variety.
Faculty: Faculty are highly qualified, supportive, and use practical teaching methods. The CSE (AI & ML) curriculum is updated, industry-oriented, and includes hands-on projects with IBM and Microsoft. Exams are moderate in difficulty, focusing on concepts. The pass percentage is high, around 90-95 percent, with proper guidance from teachers.
Other: I'm a B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) student at Chandigarh University. I chose this course for my interest in AI, ML, and Data Science. The curriculum is industry-oriented with IBM and Microsoft collaboration, and the faculty are helpful. Labs, events, and fests are great. Campus life is vibrant and diverse though placements in core AI/ML and mess food quality could improve. Overall the university offers strong academics and good exposure.

Infrastructure: Chandigarh University provides a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The university has well-equipped labs. The classrooms are air-conditioned and well-structured. The university has a well-stocked library with numerous books. Hostels are also well-managed with a number of rooms. I am fully satisfied with facilities.
Faculty: Faculty is helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The university emphasizes strong communication skills in its teachers and provides faculty development opportunities to promote effective teaching methods. Chandigarh University provides the best of its faculty.

BBA (Hons.) in Marketing - Batch of 2028

The best college if you wanna explore yourself and also balance your studies alongside.
Placements: A total of 7.8% students were placed in BBA last year. The highest package offered was 12 LPA to an MBA student, and for BBA, the highest was 4 LPA, the lowest was 9 LPA for MBA and 2 LPA for BBA. The top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Amazon, Flipkart, and Microsoft. 58% students of BBA got internships and went for NOC during their last semester. The top roles offered in my course are academic coordinator, HOD, and POC manager.
Infrastructure: All the faculty members are very polite and friendly in nature, which sets a good vibe for studying. The Wi-Fi connection is working smoothly in the classroom. Labs are clean and well-maintained. Classrooms are comfortable and a fun learning place, and all kinds of books are available in the library with a most suitable environment for studying.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and friendly, as well as very understanding in nature. They teach with real-world examples. The course curriculum is relevant. Also, we keep filling out survey forms and giving suggestions regarding the kind of knowledge we need to acquire, and it is kept in my portfolio. The semester exams are not too tough, the difficulty level is moderate. 40% is the pass percentage.
Other: There are a lot of students, a lot of crowd, because of which it sometimes becomes difficult for teachers to solve our doubts and focus on each individual student for their growth. I chose BBA because I wanted to be an entrepreneur, and I think this course can take my journey ahead. The best thing is the real-world examples and workshops in which we learn exactly how to run our own business. The first thing that can be improved is the subjects and the educational events.

Good infrastructure and supportive faculty but average placement opportunities.
Placements: In my BCA course, the placement percentage is around 60-65 percent. The highest package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest is around 2.5 LPA, and the average is about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and Tech Mahindra. Nearly 50 percent of students got internships in startups and IT firms. However, the college advertises more placement success than what actually happens, as real placements are moderate compared to what they claim.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is top class with well-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the campus. Library is spacious with digital resources and reference materials. Hostel facilities are clean and comfortable. The food in the mess and canteen is hygienic and decent. Medical facilities are available 24X7. The campus also provides excellent sports grounds and indoor game areas for overall student development.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects. Teaching quality is good and focuses on both theory and practical learning. The course curriculum is relevant but needs more industry-oriented training. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is around 85-90 percent, as students get proper guidance and support from the faculty.
