Placement cell and hostel food quality could be improved. The campus life is very cool.
Placements: Talking about the placement, which is very important for students in my course, the placement percentage is very low and the highest package is 50 LPA. The top companies that come are Flipkart, Amazon, etc. There are no specific requirements for internships. They even take an extra amount from students, approximately 10k at my time, and then increase it every year.
Infrastructure: The hostel and department infrastructure is very good. We have ACs in our classroom and basic facilities like Wi-Fi, projectors, etc. Now, talking about the hostel, it has a lift and ACs in the rooms. The disappointing factor is the hostel food, which is not worth a penny, and I myself don't like it.
Faculty: Talking about the faculty, some of them are very helpful, but no matter what, there is biasness with students, which should not be there. The course includes informative subjects that enhance our knowledge, but some subjects feel like a waste of time and there is no need to study that.

Campus life is amazing, but I am dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: The number of students placed from my course is just 2 out of 1500, so the ratio is very low. Sometimes, the college uses a cut-off and does not allow students to sit in placement drives. The highest package is around 1.2 crore, but nobody knows for sure. The lowest is about 1–2 LPA, and the average is 3–4 LPA. Top companies that come include Adobe, Samsung, TCS, and Deloitte. The same situation applies to internships. Students mostly have to look outside for opportunities. Mostly, the roles offered by companies are trainee or web developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in my department are average. In some labs and classrooms, everything works fine, but in others, many things do not work. Hostels require students to adjust to living conditions, and food quality is not very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, but many are less experienced, and concepts are not always clear. The curriculum is very theoretical with little practical exposure, so it does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to average, but to get good grades, students need to be punctual.

It's a private university, but we should aim for a government college.
Placements: The college offers a good number of placement opportunities for postgraduate and undergraduate students. Students become eligible for their placements from the fifth semester (undergraduate) and the third semester (postgraduate). The average package offered is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 10 LPA. Companies that visit the college for placements are Cipla, Microsoft, Unacademy, etc.
Infrastructure: My overall campus experience was good. I met a lot of people, and they are kind to me. There is no ragging at all. There is a library in each block across campus, and we can go anywhere we want. There is a good range of books, from journals to academic to fiction. There are sports events going on every semester, from department level to university level. There are many clubs and societies, which are led by students. There is a Wi-Fi facility in each block. There is a huge number of labs and a library.
Faculty: Faculty members are brilliant and are experts in their field. They make it easy to understand concepts. They are always there to help students in any possible way. In each semester, for theory subjects, there are 60 marks external (end-semester exams) and 40 marks internals. Internals consist of mid-semester tests (held twice every semester), assignments/term papers, presentations, surprise tests, quizzes, and 2 marks for attendance above 90%. For practicals, there are 60 marks of internals, which consist of 9 practicals and 1 project, along with a mid-semester practical conducted once every semester.

Good college, nice atmosphere.
Placements: If a student works hard enough, they will be able to get into a good company. Microsoft and Google are the few companies that offer a package of 35 LPA, but these packages are for the top 5% of students, I guess. There is this joint placement thing in Chandigarh University, where students from other surrounding universities and colleges also come here for the placements. The courses are pretty good in order to shape the student for the industry.
Infrastructure: Every department has its own library, and the central library is also available in the university with a good Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are very well furnished, neat and clean. Projectors and Wi-Fi are also available in the classrooms. The infrastructure of this university is very good, and the university provides all types of facilities, like hostel facilities, medical facilities, and a food court to the students. The university organises lots of sports and extracurricular activities every month for the development of the students. Many social groups and clubs are also there for the welfare of the university and students.
Faculty: The faculty is decent. Some teachers are pretty good and have knowledge about the subject while some just teach from the pdf, PPT's they are provided with. There are approximately 32-40 students in a class, and in combined classes, it can go up to 75 students. Some faculty teachers go with a practical approach like doing the tasks assigned in the class while some will go with giving everything for assignments.
Other: I chose the machine learning course because I am interested in it, and also, it's one of the emerging fields in the upcoming years.

One of the best colleges for getting placements if we work hard from the beginning.
Placements: Students get placed if they study well. Many companies come, but students are not able to clear the cutoff. Around 20 percent of students get placed. People focus more on coding language, but they should also focus on aptitude because that is the core. If we study hard, we will easily crack placements because many companies start recruiting students from the third year itself. One of my batchmates has just grabbed a package of 32 LPA in the third year itself.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is the best. Even celebrities come here to shoot their stuff. Hostel living is good, but the only concern is the mess. Otherwise, everything is alright. The only lack is that they don't have enough sports grounds for students, which should be taken care.
Faculty: Some teachers are very useful, but many teachers are so egoistic. It is easy to clear the semester exams because papers are easy. Many teachers help us like our parents. They are very supportive. Teachers over here have good knowledge of their subjects.

Overall good college, but placement support could be better.
Placements: 38 percent of students got placed. The highest is 64 LPA, the average is 4.6 LPA, and the lowest is 2.2 LPA. Major recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and Deloitte. 1 percent of students got internships through drives. Roles offered are Data Analyst, SDE, and Web Developer.
Infrastructure: It has facilities like high-quality labs with all the required equipment, high-speed Wi-Fi, and classrooms with good projectors, coolers, and a library that contains all types of books needed for research. The quality of hostels is mid. The food tastes very bad, and the canteens are providing overpriced food, but with good medical facilities, and sports are good.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and have all the knowledge required to teach and make us learn, and the quality of teaching is actually average. The course curriculum is relevant. They make us learn the latest courses on a good platform, which makes us industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is mid, and the pass percentage is 90 percent.
Other: The course has been in demand in recent days, and the best thing about the course is that it's easy to learn and has a lot of demand. The projects are listed. Events are mostly very boring, and the campus crowd is very high, which is one of the worst things about CU, and the scholarship is very useful for poor students.
