If you are ready for bizarre and good campus life, you can go apply for this college.
Placements: Most of the students in our department are well placed in companies like L&T and Nokia at least in their sixth semester. Most of the students have completed their internships. Some students even take extra internships for their careers in core companies. Around 90% of students are either placed in MNCs or pursue higher education.
Infrastructure: Labs are up to date and no extra tension. Most labs are equipped with air-conditioners and we have NI tools for DSP labs. Computers are available. Wi-Fi facility is provided. Sick room is available. We have friendly and supportive staff members. Library in our department has both the old and new updated books and magazines.
Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced and supportive. Most of them pursue their higher studies in premium institutions like IITs and IISC. Semester exams are mostly moderate or medium tough in nature. The curriculum changes in every 5-7 years and new subjects are introduced.

Placements are low, but one can have the best campus life.
Placements: Placements for our senior batch were poor. It depends on the CGPA of students. Efforts are being made by the college in order to start a placement cell for our branch and hope it will be available soon. Most of the passed out students have managed to find jobs on their own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Even though the department is small, all the facilities from labs to the library are available. Being a part of the university campus, sports, games and cultural events are open to all the students. Hostels are available at low fees with all facilities. We have a good campus life and interaction with students of different courses.
Faculty: Faculty members are good enough. Most of them are guest faculty members. Teaching methods include powerpoint presentations, lab sessions etc. The student-faculty ratio is about 10:1 which is not bad. The faculty members show great concern about the performance of every student.
Other: CUSAT might be the campus which hosts the highest number of events in the state. We have a number of cultural, technical and sports events every year. Thane surroundings are not as good as the autonomous colleges but are quite appreciable considering the fees and the fact that it is a government campus.

Very good college in terms of exposure, faculty. Regarding placements mainly software are coming.
Placements: There were mainly software companies coming for most of the core branches. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, L&T were frequent recruiters. 6-7 lakh CTC was the average. 11 lakshs was the highest. Trainee engineer was the common position offered. And junior engineer post was also offered alongwith. Same condition was there for senior batches also. PPOs were offered by some companies also which included many startups. They all were based on Kochi.
Infrastructure: CUSAT has got a fantastic large library. Library is available everyday for all students. Along with books e-Magazines and newspapers are also available all time. Every department in campus including library are Wi-Fi enabled. A 24*7 dispensary is available in campus. Subsidized canteen is a blessing for students. Hostel room rent is also government. Subsidized. Every dept. Is keeping well maintained classrooms and seminar halls. Apart from that university holds a dedicated seminar hall complex and a big stage for other recreational activities.
Faculty: All the permanent lecturers in campus were highly qualified. All were having a doctorate degree. And also Ph.D. aspirants were usually end up in roles of guest lecturers also. Student to faculty ratio was 50:1. Frankly speaking college was not doing anything for flourishing industry exposure.
Other: Since CUSAT is a university main campus rather than a usula college different departments exist. And events regarded to every department are conducted and celebrated. Competition is also done department wise. Alongwith university arts and sports also take place.

Other: Excellent campus, there you have the option to explore all the activities related to studentship. Facilities include library, there you can find books which can satisfy your knowledge appetite. As a very reputed institution you will get information about all the contemporary activities in other institutions also and an option for be a participant for such events. Advantage of being in University main campus includes getting exposure to all the institutional updates. Good transportation and accommodation facilities.
