3.0
The average experience at CET.
Placements: The highest package offered was by Texas Instruments at 36 LPA. The lowest package was from companies like TCS, which were mass hiring at 3.3 LPA. Top companies are TI, Bosch, and Schneider Electric in my domain. Most companies are non-core, and those are the companies most people got placed in.
Infrastructure: There is a department library and the college library. The college library has more facilities and books than the department library. Wi-Fi is available for each class, but you need to register your device beforehand. There’s also Wi-Fi availability in other spots around the college.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but not very helpful. The teaching quality is average. It's all self-study; do not expect to be spoon-fed, even when it comes to labs and workshops. The curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not difficult, and the pass percentage is high in the college.

Great college and join there with all the hope
Placements: More than 90 percent of the students had been plaed in various MNC's. Lowest is about 6 to 7 lacks per annum and the highest ever is over 20 lacks per annum. Wipro, TCS, infosys etc. Also over 90 percent students got internship in the same companies.
Infrastructure: Each classroom has its own wifi ox and a projector. The labs are large and have all required facilities. The classrooms said in average is large enough buf the classroom in which I am sitting currently is a little conjusted. The library is also big and has a lot of books to refer
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, friendly and also are highly qualified. They also have a vast experience. Hence teaching quality is really high. Yes according to me the curriculum is really relevant and the workshops conducted for electronics and electricals equips a child to even handle real life problems. The semester exams are moderately tough
Other: My course comes under EC department and in modern era electronics also has almost the same importance as computer science. So I chose it. As I said the class in which I am sitting could be a little more bigger and they had informed that they will renovate it. There are a lot of programmes, fests and the campus life is really good. Many scholarships are also provided by the college

CET is the best engineering college to study after NIT Calicut and IIT Palakkad.
Placements: The college offers almost 90% placement. For CSE almost 100% placement. So many companies visit the college every year (core companies also). TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT etc. are the IT companies. Core companies like Bosch also visits the college. The highest placement is provided by adobe last year for 38 lpa.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure facilities across 125 acres and hostel provides very good food. The physical education department is very effective. The library is very effective. Apart from the departmental library the college also have a technical library as well. The college is around 125 acres of which there will be also M.tech and Ph.D. programs. The college provides hostel depending on their marks and distance.
Faculty: In the last year my college is first in position under KTU pass percentage with a pass percentage of 81%. All the courses in our college is NBA accredited courses. CET and NIT Calicut are the only engineering college that comes below 100 rank from NIRF ranking.
Other: There are three main function called three dees Disa, Drishti, Dhwani of which two are cultural and one is technical fest. There are so many clubs here .

The college provides amazing exposure to new technologies, and it has good placements and campus.
Placements: Placements in CET are awesome compared to other colleges. Few of my batch mates were placed in Amazon with a package of 20 LPA. Placements in the previous year were also amazing as 2 students got placed in Adobe with a package of 39LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 3.3 LPA. We have a CGPU cell (placement cell) which manages all the placement activities. Apart from campus placements, the college encourages off-campus placements too. Each class will have a CGPU representative who will coordinate with the HRs of various companies. They make sure that the placement rate increases every year.
Infrastructure: We have around 11-15 Wi-Fi connections in a single department. It is available for all the students. Quality of labs is good with good components and infrastructure. All the devices work properly, and the in-charges have good knowledge of every component in there. We have 3 canteens, and the quality of the food available is amazing, tasty and low priced too. Men and ladies have separate hostel facilities. The infrastructure of college hostels is good, and lift facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers and in charges have good knowledge of their subjects. They use projectors for visual aids, i.e., they try to make the class more interesting and interactive. Teachers are friendly and helpful. We do get industrial exposure. The course curriculum is good, and class tests are conducted more often to check the knowledge of each student.
Other: We have 2 important fests called cultural fest and technical fest. The campus is amazing, and it's spread over around 120 acres. We have a physical education centre and a large playground. The college promotes extracurricular activities.

I am very much satisfied with College of Engineering, Trivandrum.
Placements: Placements in the college were very good as compared to other engineering colleges in Kerala. During the time I was studying, the average salary package offered was more than 3.50 lacs per annum with the highest being around 20 lacs per annum. Most of the companies which came for recruitment were IT companies as compared to core mechanical or electronics companies. Computer science department was the most sought after amongst the companies, with the average salary package offered more than 5 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is spread over 125 acres, with each department at different locations. The college also gives importance to various sports activities. Classrooms are large enough with proper ventilation. The library is very large, and it is difficult to cover the whole library. Labs are also of high quality. The canteen provides good food at reasonable rates as compared to the shops outside.
Faculty: Teachers are all well-qualified and are selected through stringent government processes. Their teaching quality is also very good. The faculty to student ratio is less as compared with other colleges in Kerala. The college authorities also provide enough facilities for students to get good industry exposure.
Other: The college conducts one tech-fest named Drishti and a cultural fest named Dhwani once a year.

There is unlimited freedom and happiness available here. You can do anything that amuses you.
Placements: A lot of placement drives are taking place for our department. Most of the jobs are related to the IT sector. Majority of companies offer a salary package of 3-4 LPA. Last year, one of our senior was placed in Adobe with a salary package of 38 LPA. Companies like Bosch, Siemens, Tata Elxsi, and Wipro, etc., are the reputed companies that are visiting for recruiting students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in the college are well-facilitated. Every department is enabled with an open Wi-Fi network. We have a physical education department. There is an indoor stadium available. A well-equipped library and labs are available on the campus. Both men and women hostels are very good. Labs are equipped with air-conditioners. We have a good transport facility. There is a canteen available, and it offers food at affordable prices.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and give a lot of support for extracurricular activities. Some staff members create a headache. Faculty members of the electronics department are very cool. Teachers and staff are very friendly, and they give us a lot of freedom. They also provide better support during industry visits.
Other: Drishti, Diwani, and Odisha are our proud events organised in the college.

This college is providing education for 75 years.
Placements: The placements in the college are very good. Every year, the college achieves 100% placement record. Many prominent companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Bosch, Accenture and Texas Instruments visit the college to conduct placements and recruit more than ten students. The highest salary package offered was 39 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college is 75 years old. The campus is the most eco-friendly campus I have seen. There are separate buildings for each department. There is a fully functional three-storey building for the library. The entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. The campus is spread over 100 acres.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are highly qualified. Most of them have completed postgraduation and doctorates from IITs. The curriculum is based on the theory papers and practicals. There are theory papers as well as practical sessions. The faculty members for lab sessions are specially trained.

Amazing college experience, good campus connectivity, really good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: CET provides the best placement in Kerala, after NITs. A lot of core companies visits the campus like, Bosch, TATA ELXSI, Texas, Amazon, Adobe, and many more. Texas offered the highest stipend of 16L per annum, 3 of our seniors got into Texas. Around 90% of the students gets placed. Students gets placement training during the end of their 6th semester. We have a Career Guidence Placement Centre (CGPU) to help us with the ongoing placements, it is very useful. Each class will have 2 representatives to represent our class to the visiting companies.
Infrastructure: We have a active physical education centre, two library with quality books and all the classrooms have their own projectors. We have our own Iot lab, FAB lab, Computer Vision lab. We have a default Wi-Fi available, also, each department have open Wi-Fi. The quality of labs and classrooms are pretty good, they provide the best atmosphere. The quality of the food available in the college canteen is amazing. It does cost much but they provide us with the best food. We provide two Ladies Hostel, recently renovated and one men's hostel. The hostel rooms are good, large enough for 3 people. I haven't faced any infrastructure related issue until now, as our college provides the best possible infrastructure.
Faculty: All our professors are either IIT/NIT graduates. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They are ready to help us anytime. The quality of teaching is good, some teachers uses projectors and show presentations so that we could understand the subject more clearly. The student to faculty ratio is 35:1, each class have two staff advisors to lead us forward. Teachers encourage us to look everything in a practical way, we do get industry exposures. The curriculum is good, we could manage both studies and extra curricular activities at the same time.
Other: We have a good exposure. There are two fests, technical and cultural fests conducted by us. We have many clubs lile IEEE, IET, NSS, and most of the students actively participate in all the events conducted by these clubs. In general we equally enjoy our college days without affecting the studies.
