As per the university prospectus, candidates must appear for JEE Main to be admitted to CSJMU. The fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria is also crucial. Hence, the applicant shall be a Class 12 pass with core subjects in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Eligible students can further apply by visiting the CSJMU website. The fulfilment of eligibility criteria is necessary for application form acceptance. However, the seat allotment is based on the selection criteria.

The total tuition fee for the four-year course range from INR 3.37 Lacs to INR 4.17 lakh. The selection of candidates is based on JEE  (Main) rank. The university shortlist students based on their entrance exam score and whether they meet the eligibility requirements or not. The shortlisted students further are required to take part in the counselling round, during which the seat allotment procedure is carried out.

Kanpur University BTech course total tuition fee ranges between INR 3.4 lakh and INR 4.2 lakh. Hence, the total fee at the time of admission varies. The components for fee calculation are institution fees, caution amount, semester fees, exam fees, security deposit, etc. Candidates will have to submit some amount at the time of admission and then semester-wise. Apart from the course fee, aspirants need to register with an application fee via any of the online payment modes. 

CSJMU JEE Main Cutoff in 2021 for the General category candidates under the Home State quota, ranged from 98162 to 818777 for admission to various BTech programmes in the last round closing ranks. The course which was the toughest of admission was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence), with the last round cutoff being 98162. The course which was the easiest for admission was BTech in Chemical Engineering. 

CSJMU offers admission to BTech programme based on entrance exam score. Candidates are first required to apply for BTech at CSJMU official website. The selection for BTech course is based on JEE Main or merit in the last qualifying exam. After completion of the selection process, a merit list is released with the names of shortlisted aspirants. Once the selection rounds are over, shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants must confirm their seat with the course fee to avoid rejection.
