Where is the essence of the college?
Placements: As for my department, it's an undergraduate degree, so less than 30% of students get placed through the college, and the rest 20 to 30% get self-placed. The highest package is around 6 LPA, and the lowest is around 1 LPA. Some of the companies are Teleperformance, Diginex, Dreamlogix, and Fullscoope etc. Around 30% of students get placed, and the rest go for higher studies like MBA or M.Com. Most of them got internships at some startups in Indore, some in digital marketing companies, and some in tele-calling agencies. Roles like social media executive, business development manager, and finance analyst are offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good. It feels like an old structure with no tech advancements. Also, there is no Wi-Fi in the college. Canteen food is good, but for the past two years, there have been no sports events as our new HOD refused to organise them.
Faculty: Some professors are quite good and knowledgeable and drive us towards advancements and growth, while a few just use old-style teaching methods to simply teach what’s in the book. It can be said that it’s somewhat relevant, but it’s missing the essence of the new teaching world.
Other: I want them to improve the infrastructure and buildings of the college. Also, add the essence of technology and teach us how to reach this new growing world and contribute our best so we don’t end up being unemployed.

B.Com. - Batch of 2026
Offered by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Takshashila Campus

Kind faculty and a decent curriculum.
Placements: My department, that is the School of Commerce, hasn’t provided any placements yet. But if we look at other departments in DAVV, like IMS and IIPS, they have provided placements up to 7 LPA in the MBA programme. Departments like SOC are just for the degree, not skills or PPOs.
Infrastructure: Overall, DAVV campus looks clean and beautiful, but the departments are very untidy inside. In my department, washrooms are broken. The walls have not been painted since it was built. Spider webs are all over the place, and benches have nails pointing out, which very often tear our clothes when we sit on them.
Faculty: The faculty is very kind and always helps students pass. As many students are studying for professional exams, teachers always try to give an upper hand to the students who are struggling. Exams are quite decent, and I haven’t seen any problems with them yet. The curriculum is also average based on my experience.
Other: I think if anyone wants a degree just to show on their resume, this is a decent college as it has lower fees compared to private colleges.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2027
Offered by Renaissance College of Commerce and Management

4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It’s good value for money.
Placements: About 70-80% of students are placed at top recruiting companies. Offered roles include HR posts, manager positions, and other high-level posts. I don’t have information about internships, but around 60-70% of students received internships. The highest and lowest salary packages range from 3 to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: For practical learning, computer labs are available with updated software. The library is well-stocked with all the books related to your course, and the canteen area is also good. The mess provides simple and hygienic food to the students. Both outdoor and indoor sports facilities are available, and various competitions are held throughout the year.
Faculty: Teachers are always available to help you with your studies. Many of them hold Master’s and Doctorate degrees and have several years of teaching experience. They are approachable and supportive towards students. The college also organizes many study-related functions, and the teachers maintain a friendly relationship with the students.

Review of Renaissance College of Commerce and Management.
Placements: There were no placement offers for B.Com students. As far as I know, there were no placement opportunities in this college, or maybe they do, but I was not informed. There was only one company interested, and a message was forwarded to us, and after that, the date of the placement was postponed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. The library, classroom, court, and canteen were good. Of course, it could be better, but still not bad. The staff room and the computer labs were top-notch. The food in the cafeteria was good, and the dishes were delicious. There were air coolers installed in the classrooms for students.
Faculty: Teaching quality is top-notch; the teachers teach in such a way that the curriculum becomes helpful in corporate life as well as any startup that students may start. The semester exams of some of the subjects were difficult, and the remaining were easy, although this might be my opinion; others may have found it difficult.
Other: No comment .

B.Com. in Computer Application - Batch of 2021
Offered by IPS Academy
3.6
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
IPS Academy - Best institute to study and social exposure.
Placements: Placements are not average and not actually as per my expectations. Just 20% of my batch of students got full-time opportunities. 50% of students got internship opportunities. Many companies came to the college to offer internships and job opportunities to students. Some of them are Bajaj Finserv, Krati Industries, and Tata Motors. Roles offered by them are sales executive, computer operator, financial analyst, accounting executive, marketing intern, etc. It provides an internship opportunity of around 30-45 days with a stipend of Rs. 5,000 per month and later on covers it into a full-time job opportunity.
Infrastructure: There are 2 big-size air-conditioned libraries with a lot of books of all categories and genres. Students can get their library card free of cost and can issue it every week. Every classroom is paced with the required basic amenities like 2 air-conditioners, 3-4 fans, a blackboard, 40-50 benches, and 2-3 windows with enough sunlight each, which makes a good environment to study in. Computer labs are equipped with performance-based computers. Sports activities are very much encouraged in the college. There are many sports, including volleyball, cricket, basketball, etc., with grounds and coaching staff members for all.
Faculty: The best thing I like here is the faculty members and professors. They are just amazing. They are really helpful and available to all students anytime. They all are well-qualified. There are 2 professors for each subject, who are handling 6 sections of our program altogether. The course is on basic accounting and finance. They prepare students for entry-level roles in the finance industry. Exams like class tests are conducted every month for every subject, and the internal exams, along with the viva (oral exam). Exams are not so tough and are easy to pass.
Other: The best thing about this course is that we get an idea of what is needed in entry-level roles in finance and accounting, and how the industry works and operates. Things that I feel can be considered as a bad aspect are the tuition fee for this course, which I feel are a bit on the higher side and are not worth it. The campus life here is just amazing, I would say one of the best in Indore. An annual fest is conducted here in July named Flames and Blossoms, where there is a dance activity, that everyone enjoys.

It is a well-disciplined college.
Placements: 50% of students got placed in companies like TCS, Collabera, Bajaj Finserv, etc. Bajaj Finserv is one of the top recruiters. It also provided a certification course, CPBFI that helped me a lot, and it is a beneficial course that can help in placements.
Infrastructure: Smart classrooms, computer labs, and library facilities are available. The quality of the facility is good. The canteen is also there and the food is tasty. We can also bring our lunch if we want to.
Faculty: Teachers are good. Exams are not difficult because every topic is so well explained, so all concepts are cleared which helped to clear the examinations well. Apart from academics, this institute also provided some certification courses that helped me to enhance my skills and knowledge like tally, excel, python, and CPBFI.
Other: Every festival is celebrated nicely here. I enjoyed events and fests.
