Q:   What is the last date for DU admission 2026?
    A:

Delhi University admission 2026 is open now. The last date to apply for DU PG courses is Jun 7, 2026. For the UG courses, students have to apply through CSAS counselling after CUET results are declared. The last date is tentatively scheduled for July 2026.

Q:   Do I need 60% in Class 12 to get admission in DU?
    A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

Q:   How to prepare for DU placements?
    A:

Delhi University has a decent record of placements for courses like BTech, MBA, BCA, MBBS, etc. The course-wise placement details are yet to be released on the offcial website. However, the DU has released the NIRF report 2024 on its offcial website which include the placement details for the batch 2023. Such a nice college for the sportsman.
Placements: I'll get placement in 2019, and my senior who are graduated, they got the placement and made their future. There is no percentage need for the job. The average salary offered is Rs.30,000. There is a placement cell for the students, and also they have many multinational companies for the placement.
Infrastructure: As the college is based on physical education, so there is everything. All type of equipment is available there and also a big ground with separateness for all games. There is a small hospital also for the students. The canteen is also great, all types of healthy food are available in this college.
Faculty: The faculty members are nice, and they teach very well as the college is based on the physical education, so there are different coaches for different games. We can easily learn anything and any game there. I love games, so I joined in this college. The faculty members are nice.
Other: They celebrate their annual sports day.

Good infrastructure but dissatisfied by faculty members.
Placements: About 80-90% of students get placed in this college with a good package of about 6-8 LPA. I don’t know much about the recruiting companies. If students are eager to work, they can get internships according to their preference, and students receive training in physical education and practicals.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, and its buildings and libraries are top-notch. But, there is a slight Wi-Fi problem as it doesn’t work properly, which makes things a little difficult. But the food quality and hostel are amazing, and no doubt one can get admission without worrying about hostels and food.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced but a little rude towards students. They want students to work on their own and are not available throughout the session, but if you try to connect, they definitely make time. The semester exams are not too difficult, and the pass percentage is about 96-97%.

Placements: The percent of students placed in our college is about 70%. The highest package is 80000, the lowest is 40000 and average is around 60000. 50% of students get internship. The top role is of teachers.
Infrastructure: There is lots of facilities in our colleges because the college provides all the sports equipment. Wi-Fi facility in our college is not so good and classroom and library is very good. In hostel, good and healthy food is provided by hostel and canteen is very good. The medical facilities is also good. Various sports tournaments are organized by the college.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are very helpful about the study and sports also. Teachers are well qualified and lots of knowledgeable about the course and the quality of teaching is average.

It is a good college with awesome faculty members.
Placements: In our batch, most of the students were very intelligent and sharp-minded. Almost 95% of the students got passed. The minimum salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month, and the maximum salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month. Most of the highest jobs were offered in government schools at TGT. In this course, the minimum salary package offered was 2.7 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 4.7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities were endless, and infrastructure is good with some minor imperfections. There was a basketball court, athletic track, kabbadi ground, volleyball court, and many other tracks and courts. I was a resident of Delhi, so I didn't stay at the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and qualified. I was solving a question that was not in the syllabus. I approached sir and asked him about that question, and without scolding me, he told the answer. They were well-knowledgeable, and they can simplify tough topics very easily.
Other: As I was a sportsman from the beginning, I have decided to be a physical teacher. I wanted to stay close even on the job, so I decided to be a physical teacher.
