The total tuition fee of MBA is INR 4.8 lakh to INR 6.5 lakh. Other fee component, include academic services fee to be paid along with the tuition fee. DIT University admit candidates to the MBA programme based on merit in the national-level examinations. The exams accepted by the university are MAT/XAT/CAT/CMAT/UKSEE. Selected candidates also have to go through group discussion and personal interview rounds. Apart from this, candidate must hold a valid bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. DIT University Dehradun offers good placement to its students. As per the report 2024, the overall mean and median package offered was 5.76 LPA and 5.16 LPA. The highest package was 44 LPA. The overall placement rate recorded was 64.18%.

Candidates seeking admission to the DIT University programmes must be fulfilling the eligibility requirements. The eligible students can apply by registering on the official website. Applicants are then selected based on aggregate in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12. However, for BSc Nursing course admission, the selection is done as per scores in the entrance exam conducted by the university. Following selection rounds, candidates need to take part in counselling for seat allotment.

The university organises various activities such as Nukkad Nataks, various exhibitions, quiz competitions, plays and several fashion shows. These are regularly organised by students in the Open Air Theatre of the university.
