Good infrastructure and decent placements, but overall experience varies.
Placements: The highest package is 34 LPA, and the average package offered is 5.64 LPA.90 percent of students got internship. Top companies are Amazon, TCS, Mercedes Benz, NASA, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, bosch, etc. My course is Computer Science and Engineering Data Science, and for this course, there are good placements.
Infrastructure: Course is Good. The hostel has a annual fee of 2 LPA, which is not value for money. It has good facilities like Wi-Fi, good food, neat and hygienic rooms, a gym, study rooms, playgrounds,24 hrs current supply, and lift facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful they are well qualified. If we have any doubts, they will clarify immediately. They will teach excellently and most easily so that the students understand easily. They give assignments to write, which are helpful for writing exams.

The campus looks like Disneyland, so its nickname is Disneyland DSU.
Placements: Present students get placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered off-campus is 60 LPA and on-campus is 48 LPA. Students got placed at Microsoft, TCS, Deloitte, etc. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and HGS.
Infrastructure: Here in our college, there are common rooms for boys and girls separately. The whole campus has a Wi-Fi network. We have many canteens in our college. The library is big. It has many books for every course separately. Here every class has a smart board and whiteboard. We have 10 lecture halls. They are big and have Wi-Fi. We have big projectors. The hostel is very expensive and luxurious. It is worth the money paid. The hostel name is S Residence.
Faculty: Our teachers are so helpful and well-qualified. The course makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is average. You can pass or score well. It has one of the best curriculums. Since it is not a VTU College, exams are held on time without many postpones. Most of the teachers who teach us are qualified and have good knowledge to nourish us.
Other: This course is the best for my future. Here, events are very big and nice. The campus is so big. The connectivity is very good.

DSU: Navigating - Academia.
Placements: A good percentage of students were placed, around 85-90%, in the recent batch. The highest package was around 30-35 LPA, the lowest was about 4-5 LPA, and the average was around 8-10 LPA. Some of the top companies include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, and IBM. About 70-75% of students secured internships, with companies like Google, Microsoft, Accenture, and Flipkart offering positions. The top roles include Data Analyst, Machine Learning Engineer, Software Developer, and Business Intelligence Analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite standard. We have well-equipped labs with the latest hardware and software for Data Science and Computer Science projects. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the classrooms are spacious with projectors for presentations. The library has a good collection of books and online resources for research. The hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms and basic amenities. The food in the mess is alright, with a variety of options, though the canteen is better for snacks and quick meals. There's a health center for basic medical care, and we have good sports facilities, including football grounds, basketball courts, and a gym.
Faculty: The teachers in our department are knowledgeable and well-qualified, many holding advanced degrees in their respective fields. The curriculum is designed to be industry-relevant, especially with the inclusion of hands-on projects and the latest tools and technologies used in Data Science and Computer Science. The semester exams are moderately challenging.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in technology, especially in fields like Data Science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. One of the best aspects of this course is its relevance to current industry needs. The curriculum covers key areas like machine learning, data analytics, big data, and AI, which are in high demand. While the course is strong, one area for improvement could be keeping the curriculum more up to date with the latest industry trends. The campus has a vibrant atmosphere with a good mix of students from various backgrounds.

Our college provides average teaching and good placements.
Placements: Around 85% of students got placed in our course this year. The highest salary package offered was 28 LPA, the lowest salary package was 5 LPA - 6 LPA, and the average salary package was 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Amazon, Autodesk, Accenture, and Bosch Technologies. Around 70% of students got various internships from well-established companies like Accenture, Linux, Microsoft, and top educational institutions like IIT Bhubaneshwar, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, and many more. The top role offered was data scientist.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Everything is new as it is recently built in 2014. Other facilities like Wi-Fi, good labs, good mentors, classrooms with digital projectors and air conditioners in labs, and a decent library are available. The quality of food served in the mess is good. The canteen does not have much variety of food items and has a very limited number of seats to sit and eat food. Restroom facilities are good. Each floor has two washrooms for both girls and boys which are cleaned every day. Sports and games are a bit constrained but students can see them during events.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified and knowledgeable but sometimes, they use projectors a lot and complete the entire explanation orally. The teaching quality of some teachers is average but the rest are good as they teach practically. The course curriculum opted for by our university is good as it has a lot of practical applications in daily life and upcoming job opportunities. Sometimes they tend to run with their portions to complete the syllabus within the given deadline. The difficulty level of exams is moderate. Students can easily clear exams if they score well in internals. Otherwise, they have to work a bit more to clear them. The pass percentage is around 80-85%.
Other: The best thing about our course is that it is a booming sector where a lot of opportunities are available to fetch good jobs. I chose this course because I'm passionate about studying computer science. Some practical concepts taught to us do not have applications in real life. So useful topics that have some application can be included. Good events take place in our college throughout the academic year. Fests are average. We have intra college fest and no inter-college fest. There is good connectivity between seniors and teachers. Scholarship facilities are informed to students on time. Sometimes, office management is average in providing information regarding fees, changes in scheduled exams, etc. Our college is shifting to Harohalli by July 2023.
