Placements: The placement in the college is below average. As they provide 3.5 to 4.5 lacs LPA as the average package. The chances of getting placed in Galgotias University are 10 to 20 percent, meaning out of 10,000 students, only 300 to 400 students get placed from the university.
Infrastructure: The courses are good enough for B.Tech. But there are many more courses, and the quality is very inconsistent. Some of the faculty are highly qualified from IIT and IIM, but some faculty members come, read the PPT, and leave without clearing doubts. However, some faculty members pay full attention to students.
Faculty: There are 8 B.Tech semesters of 5 to 6 months. The examination pattern is that two examinations take place: MTE (Mid-Term Examination) of 50 marks and ETE (End-Term Examination) of 100 marks. In MTE, they give half the course of the particular semester, and in ETE, they give the full course.

Galgotias is a tier 3 college in a tier 1 city, with good placements but very crowded.
Placements: Last year's passing out batch grabbed 100% placements. The placement cell is very good and helpful. This year, as of now, 80% of students have received placement offers, and this year's package is 40 Lacs. Almost every student got offers above 6 Lacs. For our batch, we are being taught by a private company, Guvi, and they are taking responsibility for our placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is really awesome, the best they could provide. It has a large campus area of 50 acres and beautiful buildings with fine finishing and design. Photogenic people have lots of locations to pose. When you come for admission, I am sure you will be amazed to see the beauty of the admission cell; it has an amazing design.
Faculty: The faculty comes in the average range; they are not really very good. Some of the teachers are not even into teaching. When it comes to the curriculum, it is better than some government AKTU-affiliated colleges. It has a modern curriculum as per the university's needs. Exams are of a moderate level, and the passing criteria are 40%, so one can easily pass the exams.
Other: The college is really crowded, having a lot of student intake. Sometimes they fail to manage all the students at once.

Galgotias University is a growing university.
Placements: Placement is average but it is improving every year. Now our university curriculum is focusing on placement, they are preparing us for interviews and have many good courses in the semester which help in interviews. Top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant are among the major recruiters. The most common roles offered are software development engineer (SDE), data analyst, Full Stack developer, and cloud engineer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, and the new AI Building started this year has a very big library. The university has many labs which are integrated with companies. The university hostel is very good, it has very good sports facilities and pretty much average mess food. The hostel is good for morning classes as it is just a 5-minute walk to the classroom.
Faculty: Faculty is very good in terms of their knowledge, and mainly teachers have Ph.D. degrees. Teachers are very helpful with the curriculum and exams. The course curriculum is relevant. Many courses are good, like the communication course, which helps overcome public speaking problems, etc. Exams are not very tough, pretty much average. If you study one day before the exam with passion, then you will score good marks easily.
Other: I chose this course because the cloud computing market is growing rapidly in the IT sector. I love the Computer Science course also. I have a specialization, but I will study cloud computing subjects in the 3rd year. In the 1st and 2nd years, I study only B. Tech Computer Science subjects. Events, fests, etc., are good in my university. There are many cultural clubs to join, and there are many sports faculty members also.

My B.Tech journey at Galgotia University.
Placements: At Galgotias University, the students get offered an average salary between 3 to 4 Lacs. The placements at Galgotias is good having about 70% students getting placed every year in B.Tech courses. The highest package offered in 2024 is 1.5 crores given by a foreign company. If you have skills and a good CGPA, then nothing can stop you from getting through the campus placements. Top recruiting companies visiting every year are Infosys, Microsoft, Wipro, Zeplin, and many others. Many students got internships from tge college in many companies like teachkook, gbt and many others. In our top leading courses, B.Tech Computer Science is one of the most significant course which offers more jobs.
Infrastructure: Galgotias university has a world class infrastructure. They have digital classes with projectors. All the classes have Wi-Fi in their rooms along with being fully air conditioned. They have different libraries for different courses like they have a law library for law students and an engineering library for the engineering students. Campus is very clean and well furnished, it gives you a classy feel, and a good environment for studying. The hostel is sufficiently good. The hostel mess is pretty large having a seating capacity for about 3 to 4 hundred students at a time. Galgotias University has a good sports department which has all the necessary equipments for the students along with a very large cricket ground, volleyball ground, and basketball ground provided.
Faculty: Teachers have a good teaching experience. They teach the students well, but you have to work hard with your studies and do self studying. Teachers are well qualified from foreign universities and also from IITs and NITs. They teach in all the languages making the concepts understandable for the students. The course I chose is not so relevant. You can choose other courses as there is not much scope in Computer Science. Semester exams are also not very difficult. The teachers give practice sets and also refer to the previous year papers for making the current semester question papers. They make their own question papers which are checked by them. They give their own degree.
Other: I chose this course because it is very much in demand and has a high scope in the future. The best thing about this course is coding, you can learn computer programming languages by just playing with the keyboards. By learning coding, you can make anything possible nowadays. This subject is much more interesting than the other courses. Galgotias University organized many fest and events. It organizes North-India's biggest fest (Galgotias unifest) which is held every year. In every fest, they call celebrities and singers to perform on the stage which is enjoyed by all. Many games are also organized and cash prizes are distributed among the winners.

Our college is good in all aspects.
Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. I guess the median package ranges between 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Internship are must from college side. Several programs and courses help students to learn in a better way. We have good courses. Courses are very much helpful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is so good. Wi-Fi is cool. Libraries are awesome. Classrooms are good but not very good. The location of the college is the worst thing about college. It is on the outskirts and at the yamuna expressway. The hostel is only for boys. Canteens and cafes in the college are average but helpful during breaks. The hostel food is below average.
Faculty: Faculty members are so good. The way of teaching is good but sometimes they are unable to handle class smoothly so it is a trouble for the students who want to study in that particular class. The curriculum is so relevant according to the placement that we have to study verbal, aptitude, and communication these things are very helpful.
Other: Fests are good, but I don't like the crowd.
