Galgotias University review.

Placements: Galgotias University provides an above-average package to many of the students studying at the university, 75% percent of the students get placed in good corporations like Microsoft, Oracle, HCl, TCS, and many more. 70% of students get an internship on campus at companies some of them are paid and some of them are unpaid also. Top roles like Software Engineer, Web Developer, Graphic Designer, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Galgotias University is mind-blowing and a very beautiful university. All classrooms are having a smart board air conditioner and in blocks, there are 70l coolers that are also there for people who are in the class, the cafeteria also has a very good smart payment card that works if you are not carrying cash.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and very friendly but some teachers are not friendly also but every teacher is very knowledgeable and provides very good teaching to students. The course curriculum is relevant and easy for the student to read. Semester exams are average they will provide you with question banks and many of the questions come from that question bank only if you study a little hard you will score well.

It is the best place to get exposure.

Placements: 80% of students got placed, including on and off-campus placements. The highest package is 8 Lacs per annum in the IT sector. The top recruiting companies are BYJU's, TCS, and new startups. The placements are very important and also very paramount for us. Mass recruitment, off and on-campus placements have a better position in the outside world.

Infrastructure: We have been provided with labs and IIT teachers, equipment and guides too. The hostel is available within the campus, and it is a 9-floor building with about 80-70 single rooms. The best part is that all rooms are double-sharing only, and it is a huge building with the name, D block.

Faculty: The teachers have astounding teaching skills and are very well experienced. This course makes the students ready to deal with industries. It includes environmental behaviour as well. We get to develop a trait to get in PSU sectors like Miniratan, Maharatan etc.

Other: 2 fests are held every year. Fresher's party is also held. Many movie stars come here for their movie promotions.

I am satisfied with placements of 2019.

Placements: Placements in our batch were at a good level. Almost 7 students got placed in non-core companies via off-campus placements. Maximum students appeared for GATE and cleared it. Placement opportunities overall in the university were also great since 60-70% of the students got placed in different companies. Top roles offered were sales, software engineer, marketing, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available in specific areas in our university, but classrooms and libraries were well-oriented and maintained. Laboratories were well-equipped and had all the essential instruments, and there were also fluid mechanics lab and mechanical operation lab. Medical facilities were good, along with sports and games. For badminton and basketball, there was a separate ground.

Faculty: Teachers in the chemical department were very helpful, and their teaching quality was excellent. Due to them, mass transfer and heat transfer have become my favourite topics. They always explain the most difficult process in such an easy manner that we start visualising it in a practical industrial scenario. They always make students ready for industries.

Other: I have chosen this course because I want to go into the oil and gas industry. University organises various fests, events, etc., on a regular basis, which involves huge students participation. Connectivity is available via auto or buses. University is surrounded by Yamuna expressway highway.

Surroundings of University are clean and transportation facilities are good.

Placements: In Chemical Department placements are not well organised. Since mostly off campus placement occurs. Maximum companies that arrived on campus are either provide sales role or software roles. Although University allows everyone to sit in placements and participate in the process. It depends upon someone if they want to go for core or non - core. In my batch, almost 30% go for core ie. Off-campus placement and 60% go for core in on-campus placement.

Infrastructure: Chemical Department has only up to 4-5 classes which are well-equipped and have an air conditioner in few. Food available is of both types street as well as standard. Although standard food has a comparatively high cost. Medical facilities are available but one has to search the medical room every time. Sports facilities are also good but the ground is small. There are approximately 3 large grounds in university but 2 of them are not available for students to play sports. The library is well-equipped but mostly contains books related to Computer Science engineering.

Faculty: In chemical department faculty members are highly knowledgeable. They are few in number but they provide huge support in education related queries and other management related problems. They even make us ready for placement. The best part is LLL learning ie. Under the English course, we were taught about the different methods to solve aptitude problems that help during the placements.

Other: University organises various extracurricular activities and fests that involves the participation of big Bollywood stars or singers. Surroundings of the University are clean and transportation facilities are available via bus or auto service. The scholarship is also provided by University for students who secure more than 9 CGPA for continuous 3 years. Best things about my course is its curriculum ie. As per UGC recommendation.

Satisfied but infrastructure can be better.

Placements: In my course almost all the students gets placed either in internships or in jobs. Maximum companies that arrived in university were either for sales and marketing or for software roles. Computer Science and electrical engineering has high rate of placement record in university. Maximum package is up to 20 Lacs and minimum is upto 1.5 Lacs.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not well oriented since classrooms are non AC and few lifts don't work in A and B blocks. Although infrastructure of C block is great. Canteen has standard food quality as well as libraries are well-equipped. Hostel facilities are medium. Medical facilities and sports are also good but they need management at more level.

Faculty: Faculty members in Chemical department are excellent in their respective fields. They are not only knowledgeable but also helps in getting internship and jobs. They help in preparation of exams like GATE CAT etc. Their main focus is to guide the students to go in PSU. Course curriculum is also as per AICTE and we even visited to 2 industries for industrial exposure.

Other: I chose this course because I had interest in Mass Transfer and Heat Transfer subjects. Campus is at great place and auto facility is easily available. It is near to two other universities due to which it's easy to travel. University organises various events every year which used to be lot of fun.

Satisfied because of faculty in chemical engineering but management can be better by 20% more.

Placements: Overall around 50-60% students are placed every year in university. The lowest package offered is 1 LPA whereas the highest package offered is 21 LPA. Mostly, It is known for computer Science engineering since the placement ratio is quite high for it. Even in my batch itself, around 50% students got internship opportunities in-campus in private chemical companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my university is good enough for someone to study in relaxed environment. Library is quite silent and contains all the books regarding our core subjects. Classrooms are well-equipped and maintained. Even the management itself is good.

Faculty: Faculty members in chemical engineering are more than supportive. They guide us in many cases. They all are IIT passouts and have great experience in their fields. Not only this, they even helped us during our placements and other exams as well. They even took us on the internship trips which were more than useful.

Other: I am passing out in 2020. I choose this course because I have huge interest in chemical reaction engineering subject. In my course I wish that there would be more number of students in my batch. But overall fests, campus crowds, scholarships etc. are well managed in the university.
