Goa University cutoff for various MD and MS courses is based on NEET PG scores followed by the NEET PG Counselling. As per the NEET PG Round 2 cutoff, the closing rank for MS courses fell between 5970 and 11509 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. In the Goa University, the passing rates are divergent in both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Students under the UG have to pass a minimum of 40 percent aggregate mark on a combination of theory and practical. In respect to PG, both internal and end-of the semester assessment needs a minimum of 50 percent. Such criteria are able to support academic standards and fairness of all courses.

Goa University offers several Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certificate, and PhD courses to students. These courses are offered across Science, Management, Commerce, etc. streams.
