Goa University cutoff for various MD and MS courses is based on NEET PG scores followed by the NEET PG Counselling. As per the NEET PG Round 2 cutoff, the closing rank for MS courses fell between 5970 and 11509 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. In the Goa University, the passing rates are divergent in both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. To ensure fair access, Goa University strictly follows the state government's reservation guidelines for its BE admissions. The current seat distribution includes: 
27% for Other Backward Classes (OBC).
12% for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
10% for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of the Un-Reserved Category.
2% for Scheduled Castes (SC).
