Candidates need to apply online on the official website of Goa University for UG and PG programmes. The university shortlists candidates for PG programmes based on GU-ART conducted by the university. For MBA admission, the university accepts CMAT/ ATMA scores. For UG courses, the selection is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Goa University conducts its entrance exam for some of the courses. These are GU-ART and GU-PET for PG and PhD programmes, respectively. The university also conducts GU-CLAT, GU-QET, GU-CSAT, etc. Besides this, Goa University also accepts national-level entrance exam scores. The university accepts CMAT/ XAT for MBA General and ATMA for MBA Financial Services. For admission to PhD programme, the university also accepts UGC NET/ SET/ JRF/ GATE/ GPAT scores.

Goa University offers M.Ch. in Neuro Surgery at the super speciality level in the Medical field. The university accepts NEET SS scores followed by NEET SS Counselling for admission to the said course. Goa University cutoff for M.Ch. in Neuro Surgery closed at 1514 after Round 1 Seat Allotment results for General category All India candidates. Goa University NEET PG cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the MD and MS courses for round 2 for all categories under the All India quota. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 212 to 112424. 

For the OBC AI category, the last round cutoff was 2025 in the first round to 91486.

Goa University cutoff for various MD and MS courses is based on NEET PG scores followed by the NEET PG Counselling. As per the NEET PG Round 2 cutoff, the closing rank for MS courses fell between 5970 and 11509 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Among all the MS specialsilations, the most competitive one was Obstetrics & Gynecology, followed by General Surgery. Goa University NEET UG cutoff 2024 ranged between 10898 and 14834 for the OBC category students in the AI quota. So, students with a cutoff rank of 14000 have the chance to get a call from the university for MBBS admission. However, the NEET UG cutoff ranks vary for different rounds and categories. Tabulated below is the NEET UG round-wise cutoff ranks for the OBC category students in the All India quota: 

So, as per the above data, candidates with a rank of 14000 are not eligible to take in the initial two rounds because the cutoff ranks are more competitive during the first two rounds.
