GBPUAT offers admission to BTech course based on JEE Main score. Except BTech in Food Technology and Biotechnology, the selection for all BTech specialisations is based on JEE Main. Shortlisted candidates are required to participate in UKSEE Counselling. Shortlisted candidates need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Your score and rank in JEE Mains will determine the chances of you getting into the college. Also, only your rank in JEE Mains is going to decide the branch you will be alloted. There are total 9 engeneering branches in the university out of which 1 is headed by College Of Basic Sciences and Humanities (Biotechnology Engg)while the rest are under the College of Technology. 

For branches like Computer and Information Technology, you really need to score good. Especially for general category students the closing rank is about under 40-50k. And for the rest branches like mechanical, industrial and production Engg, agricultural and civil engineering lower ranks under 3 Lacs may be considered.
