My best college life in mountains.

Placements: My batch is 2024-28 and my course is information technology in B.Tech. Around 20% to 30% of students got placed from our course. The highest package is 4.5 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA in our course. Top recruiting company is Wipro. There is no internship provided by our college to students. The roles offered are business management.

Infrastructure: There is a departmental library available for our course and Wi-Fi is also available. We have classes on a regular basis with IT lab and there are all facilities available which should be necessary for B.Tech. The quality of food is average in our hostel mess or even in canteen also. There is 24/7 medical facilities available for students here.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and take our class on a regular basis. They are qualified and knowledgeable also. There is some strictness in our course and we have to come in college dress to attend class. Course is not so much relevant but we can say that this course can be relevant and it does not make students industry-ready on their own. Semester exams difficulty is average in our college.

Other: I chose this course because only IT course is taken seriously here and also fee is the main reason. The best thing about our course is that our classes are on regular basis. I wish there would be more labs. There is only one event Ananta and a college cultural event. There is less connectivity due to the hill region and there are not so many extracurricular activities conducted because there is a fear of leopards also.

My college comes under a central university.

Placements: About 75% of students get placed in my course. Talking about the highest, the lowest, and average packages offered in my course are around 14 LPA, 5 LPA, and 3 LPA respectively. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, etc. About 50% to 60% of students get internships in companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro. Talking about the top roles that are offered, software developer, data scientist, system analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are above average. There is separate Wi-Fi everywhere on campus the library, hostel, classrooms, and labs all have separate Wi-Fi facilities. Talking about facilities in the hostel, the food is good, and medical facilities are available 24/7. Sports equipment is available 24/7 in both the hostel and on campus.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified from reputed institutes. The teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is totally relevant. It does make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, and almost 80% to 90% of students pass the exam.

Other: Value for money and campus life are 4-star. I choose this course because I want to contribute to the CSE sector. My course trains students to be industry-ready. I wish projects are given in the 2nd semester to make more practical knowledge. Talking about fests, events, campus crowd, connectivity, scholarships, and extracurricular activities all are above average.

College is quite good for pursuing B.Tech. Mainly it is very feasible in terms of economics.

Placements: Currently I am studying B.Tech IT from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University Chauras campus. There are total 40 seats in my branch in 1st year of which 33 seats are full. Talking about the students who get placed are about 50-60%. The highest, average, and lowest packages are 12, 7, and 3 LPA respectively. Top recruiting companies in my course are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. About 45-50% of students got internships from my course in companies like Wipro. Top roles like software developer, networking developer, etc., are offered in my course.

Infrastructure: Talking about the facilities that are provided to us are above average. They provide Wi-Fi everywhere like in department, library, labs, and hostel. Infrastructure is also above average. Now talking about the hostel facilities are good. Quality of food is good. Hostel has medical facility. Aambulance is available 24X7. They also provide sports equipment to play with.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable enough to teach us. Teachers take regular lectures and teach us the easiest way we can understand. The course curriculum is relevant. It does make the students industry-ready. Recently a workshop in my course is conducted with alumni to make students industry-ready.

Other: I was quite clear about pursuing B.Tech IT as I wanted to contribute to IT sector. My course gives me the core knowledge about IT sector that is important to know and to survive in the competition that is increasing day by day. I want projects should be given to students in the third semester so that it will be helpful to gain practical knowledge. Events, fests, and all the other things including scholarships, etc., are conducted in my university.

Beautiful campus and good hostel service.

Placements: 10% of students are placed every year. The highest package last year was 12 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. No one got an internship here you have to do it on your own. Students got placed in sales company in campus placement. College is good for those who are preparing for gov exams.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available at our college, and every student has their ID for daily data usage. We receive 10 GB of high-speed data each day. Labs are not in great condition as they are still using Windows 8. Classrooms are nice, and there are two large fields for playing on campus.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and have graduated with their PhDs from IITs. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The teaching is effective, and placement classes are also conducted. Semester exams have an average difficulty level, and the minimum pass percentage is 35%.
