There are a lot of extra curricular activities like - shooting, swimming, etc.
Placements: Very good campus, labs, and professors. Students get placed with very good salary. Last year placement rate is very high in this university. Students also get experience to work in workshops in the university to actually experience the work. They also got internship to do.
Infrastructure: Neat and clean hostel and good infrastructure. Hostel rooms are good and neat and clean. Washrooms are clean. There is also a lift in the hostel. Food in the mess is nice and can be eaten. There are many shops in the hostel where we get all our necessary things.
Faculty: Down to earth faculty. All professors in the university are Ph.D. qualified. They have a lot of knowledge and make sure that their students get all the information that they did not get in their time. Exams are held in a very good way. Passing marks I didn’t know exactly.
Other: Campus is very big and beautiful to explore.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty, placements, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Most students, after completing the Master's in Physics they continue as PhD scholars in our department under any professor. After completing the PhD, they can be appointed as a assistant professor in our department, so that's a great opportunity for students.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure of our department is good, and many more departments, such as UBS, Agriculture, and the UIT department, have better infrastructure. Moreover, we have a health centre on our campus which includes great and experienced doctors and helpful staff.
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified and helpful, too. The level of the semester exam is quite good, and the passing percentage is that students must at least score 36 marks out of 100. Most of the PhD scholars come to do duty as an invigilator in the exams, and sometimes professors come too.
Other: I already told you about the course. But the events or rest that are held in our university campus are awesome. Every year, we have a Youth Festival (in which colleges under GNDU compete with each other in folk song, folk dance, shabads, sits, etc.). We have Jashan (in which we have interdepartment competitions in folk song, dance, facts, theatre, etc. ). Besides all this, we have an interdepartmental sports competition. So, overall, our Guru Nanak Dev University is very good for all things.

Admission to the M.Com Course in the year 2025-26.
Placements: Approximately 72% of students were placed. The lowest package was 2.8 LPA, the highest was 8.5 LPA, and the average was about 4.7 LPA. PwC, ICICI, Axis Bank, and audit firms are major recruiters. Many were able to secure internships in finance and taxation. Limitation: fewer positions in the analytics and stock market sectors.
Infrastructure: The department features Wi-Fi classrooms, labs for accounting software, and a respectable library with resources related to commerce. There is a gym and a sports field, and the hostel is manageable. Food quality is mediocre and occasionally monotonous. Although it is available, medical care is not always available.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive of research endeavors. With topics like auditing, taxes, and finance, the curriculum is useful, although some of the papers seem out of date. Moderately difficult exams with a pass rate of about 89%.

The M.Com course intake for the year 2026 provides a lot of information, including placements, etc.
Placements: Approximately 70% of students are placed. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the highest is 9 LPA, and the average is about 5 LPA. Recruiters include EY, ICICI, HDFC, and Deloitte. Internships are primarily in accounting firms and banks. The drawback is that there are fewer core research positions available.
Infrastructure: Good classrooms with Wi-Fi, accounting software computer labs, and a library with trade journals. Sports facilities and the hostel are both good. The mess food is average with little variation. Limited medical assistance is available. The college organizes many sports and games facilities.
Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable, encouraging, and provides real-world examples when teaching. Although some of the material seems out of date, the curriculum is industry-relevant and focuses on finance, taxes, and auditing. The exams are moderately difficult with a 92% pass rate.
