Gawahati University is the best university in North East.

Placements: It is a very good and effective course. Almost 40% of students get placed. The top recruiters are Oil India and TCS. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Almost 90% of students are able to claim their internship from the university.

Infrastructure: The Department of Electronics and Communication Technology has a very big building with free Wi-Fi and well-maintained labs. Recently, the Communication Minister of India established a 5G lab in our department. To enable students to know and get inspired about the network hype in the country.

Faculty: The teaching staff is very good, and there are well-qualified teachers from top institutes like IITs and NITs. The college provides a very updated course, which is very helpful for placement opportunities for students. The semester exams are quite difficult and conceptual.

Other: I chose this course because Gauhati University provides a very enjoyable campus life. The university hosts various kinds of events throughout the year.

Best university in our state and I am happy with my college.

Placements: In our university, 60 to 70 percent of students get placed and very few students get an internship. Our highest salary package is 8 LPA, our average salary package is 4 LPA and our lowest salary package is 2 LPA, but placements are always dependent on us because if we always focus on our studies, we can definitely achieve our goal.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but the internet speed is very low. We have very big lab rooms and AC, and internet facilities are also available in our lab rooms. Classrooms are projector connected and test food is available in our canteen. The college provides facilities for our bright future and a comfortable atmosphere. Sports and games are arranged per year.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, and some new teachers have recently joined our department. The all-new faculty members are very experienced and knowledgeable. Our internal exams were very easy, but the external exam was a little bit tough. We get class notes and suggestions from our everyday class.

Really good infrastructure and facilities, but dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: 50% of students were placed in my course. The highest salary package is 6.3 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amul, Berger Paint, Finance, and many more. Minimum 25% of students got an internship from my course in NGO-like companies.

Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi system, well-equipped labs, and computers available for practicals. Classrooms have projectors for presenting some topics. The college has a canteen, hostel, mess, etc. The canteen's food is hygienic. Sports and games are provided by the college. The hostel's quality is not good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. But some teachers' lectures are useful for students, while some teachers are not knowledgeable. This course is curriculum-relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are normal, neither too hard nor too easy. The pass percentage is 70-85%.

Other: I found my future career opportunities in this course; that's why I chose this course. Events and fests are both organized by the College. Placement opportunities should be improved in my course. Scholarships are also provided by the college.
