No, you can't take admission in M.Tech at IIIT Delhi without appearing for the GATE exam. The institute offers this two-year full-time programme at the postgraduate level. Aspirants must meet the basic eligibility of passing graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university in addition to clearing the GATE exam. For seat allotment, candidates have to register for the CCMT counselling.

The total fee for MTech in IIIT Delhi ranges between INR 3.7 lakh and INR 6 lakh. NIT Trichy MTech fee is INR 1.4 lakh. As per placement statistics, the median package is recorded to be INR 18.17 LPA for IIITD and INR 7 LPA for NIT Trichy. Hence, it can be concluded that the fee is higher at IIITD. It must be noted that the fee given for both institutes is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
