I would say getting admitted to this college is one of the best experiences in your whole life.

Faculty: All professors are highly qualified from foreign universities. Their knowledge about current and future technology is beyond that of any other normal people. Semester exams are difficult, and sometimes open-book exams are also conducted. So, you have to attend all the lectures of professors very carefully.

I am decently satisfied with the campus life.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us pretty well. The course curriculum also seems relevant to the industry. Semester exams are quite hectic, considering we have quizzes/exams every month during the semester. But, these exams are quite manageable.

Great research environment with helpful faculty members and good campus life.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. Most had a big degree. Teaching quality was good. Course was useful and helped with research and job. Syllabus was mixture of subjects and projects. Exams were tough, but if studied then okay. Pass percentage was around 90%. Some subjects were hard.

Best IIT of India.

Faculty: I am not questioning teachers. They are quite knowledgeable of course and very much better than me, but students don't understand what is being taught in class. They only go to classes due to 75% attendance. I feel that teachers in my coaching for JEE were not as qualified as professors here, but they knew how to teach, so students have an interest maintained. The curriculum has gone obsolete, it has no real-life applications, and one has to do an online course or learn from YouTube to get a job...

Q:   What is the salary of an assistant professor at IIT Delhi?
A:

Regular faculty members of IIT Delhi are entitled to various benefits and incentives, which include on-campus housing, medical assistance, and retirement benefits, among others. An assistant professor commencing at pay level 12 receives a minimum salary of INR 101,500 per month for 12 months each year. An annual increment of 3% is also applicable. All employees of IIT Delhi are entitled to a dearness allowance to offset price increases. This allowance is revised every six months and currently stands at 21% of the basic pay (as of 2021).

After completing the 3 years of service as an assistant professor at pay level 12, the member is considered for movement to pay level 13 A1. The annual minimum pay at this level is INR 131,400.
