BMS in Strategy and Leadership - Batch of 2025
4.4
5Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Highly qualified teaching staff, good crowd, great college life, and infrastructure is superb.
Placements: Above 50% of students are placed. The highest package offered is 25 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and average is atleast 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Recruiting companies are Myntra and Wells Fargo. 40% of students got internships at Myntra, Urban Company, etc. Associate manager is one of the top roles offered in our BMS course along with business development associate.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided, labs are accessible to everyone, and classrooms are neat, well-built, and spacious. All the necessary facilities and equipment are available for a standard class including chair, benches, tables, boards, markers, fans, air-conditioning, etc. Sports facilities are superb.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well qualified with Ph.D. They are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. Definitely, it helps students grasp an idea about how the job market works and prepares us to perform well in our jobs. Semester exams are not difficult, and are quite easy to crack. Pass percentage is 40%.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2029

Not good on the faculty members' side.
Placements: 70 to 75% of students were placed in the course. Highest package is 15 LPA, and lowest package is 6 to 8 LPA. About 40 to 50% of students got internships. During the course, mostly in IT software development and analytics roles, the majority of the placements were in software development.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our course and department, for example, Wi-Fi is not good, and the lab is okay. Classroom is not bad, and their library is so bad. There is no quality in the facilities of our hostel, and they are repeating the same menu for the food.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful, not qualified, and not knowledgeable. Teaching quality is not good, and the teachers speak with students rudely and are not friendly. But outside, they are showing that they are more friendly on the campus, and I don't know about the student industry readiness.
Other: I chose this course for my future placement. Events, and first campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings are good, but the scholarship is not good.

BCA in Internet of Things Integrated with Certification in IoT Fundamentals - Connecting Things - Batch of 2026

Jain University in a nutshell.
Placements: My class is the BCA 2023 batch my class has around 40 people. The average package is 5 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The highest package is 55 LPA. Only a few students were able to get an internship.
Infrastructure: The system they provided is laggy but still gets the job done. I would suggest buying a laptop and not relying on the system provided by the college. I have never been to the college hostel so I don't know anything about the hostels. There's a cafeteria on the 3rd floor of the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified but the management of the college is very bad they have no idea what's going on with their college. The college is a money-hungry college just like other private colleges. The exams are not that difficult to pass as long as you submit your assignment.

B.Sc. in Computational Biology - Batch of 2026
Offered by School of Sciences, Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore
3.8
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
The college infrastructure is not good. There is no campus life in the college.
Placements: I am in the first batch of B.Sc. Computational Biology courses in Jain deemed to be University, Bangalore, J.C. Road campus. I have joined the batch of 2023 to 2026. Till now, we are 8 members in our class. But from our juniors, the strength is slightly increasing.
Infrastructure: We have a well-equipped library. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and well-equipped with Wi-Fi. But I don't recommend taking the Jain hostel for accommodation. It is worthless. You have to pay 2 lakh for 1 year, and it is not worth paying 2 lakhs. Placements are also available for this course from various MNCs like EY, SAP Labs, etc.
Faculty: The exam in college is conducted every semester. Each semester is for 4 to 5 months. We have MCQ, mid-term, and then the mid-semester exam. Passing mark for theories is 18 out of 50. You can pass if you study well. The exams are not as difficult as those at another university. The faculty are so friendly in our department.
Other: I chose this course because there is bright future in this course once you pass out. Getting a job is very high in this course. We also have many cultural fests like Nexus, Anveshana, Onam celebration, and many more.

Good campus with placements.
Placements: 100% is the placement rate. 9 LPA is the highest package, 3 LPA is the lowest. Syngene, Biocon, etc., are recruiting companies. No internship is offered because we have top labs around the city compared to other colleges. Lab assistant and some are abroad for their Ph.D., and this college provides you with the knowledge to publish papers.
Infrastructure: We have well-equipped lab, hostel facility, good infrastructure, well-trained faculty, pleasant campus, good placement, nice cafeteria, transport facilities, a temple on campus, industrial visits, ragging-free college, research-oriented lab, and library facility.
Faculty: All post-doctorate faculty members, well-talented teachers, and research-oriented lab faculty members help a lot in placement, where they have good contacts with the industries around. The semesters are held once every 6 months, where all the students who study for at least an hour per day can pass the exam.

This is my experience so far.
Placements: I'm still in first year and not fully aware. I got to know from seniors that the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. It's important to search for internships on our own. They provide free access to Coursera for students to learn as many skills as possible.
Infrastructure: The food in the mess is quite repetitive. It's good in the beginning, but eventually, it gets boring. Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time. There is no medical facility on campus, so if we get sick, we need to go to the nearest hospital.
Faculty: Faculty for non-IT subjects are great but according to my experience, the IT faculty are not so good. At times they just read PPTs and don't explain the concept much. Our Maths faculty is really good. Chemistry and English faculty members are good as well.
