JNU Cutoff 2025 will be updated here once out. The JNU 2024 cutoffs for Courses have been released for BTech, Integrated BTech, and BArch admissions. In Round 4, JoSAA cutoffs spanned from the 26174 to the 34649 values. Among these, the B.Tech. in CSE stands out as a fiercely competitive option for General category students under the AI Quota.
In a comparison of the JNU cutoff in 2024 with that of the preceding two years, it’s observed that JNU has experienced a fluctuating pattern in its closing ranks. The Round 4 cutoff for this course stood at 26280 in 2023 and 23935 in 2022.
The course with the least competition was B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, with a Round 4 closing rank of 34649 for the General category. The NIRF 2025 report for JNU placements 2024 have been released. According to the same, 327 students were selected for higher studies and 30 students were placed (out of total 357) during the JNU placements 2024 for UG 3-year students. Out of total 1,432 PG 2-year students, 188 were placed and 1,244 were enrolled into higher studies.
Regarding UG 4-year students during JNU placements, 17 students were placed and 61 were selected for higher studies out of 78 students. UG 4-year students were offered a median salary of INR 6.5 LPA.

Jawaharlal Nehru University course admissions are entrance-based. Additionally, JNU admission to BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages, BSc-MSc Integrated Programme in Ayurveda Biology, and Certificate of Proficiency courses is based on CUET-UG scores. For PG courses, CUET-PG and some other national-level exams are accepted. Master degree courses in JNU Delhi include MBA, MSc, MA, and MTech.

JNU Results 2025
JNU follows a semester pattern, namely monsoon and winter semesters, and releases the result of each semester soon after the commencement of the respective examinations. While the monsoon semester results are declared in the month of December-January, candidates can check winter semester results in May-June.

JNU has a wide array of faculty comprising over 567 teaching and more than 1,000 non-teaching staff. JNU Infrastructure
Spread across 1,019 acres of land, JNU provides state-of-the-art infrastructure to the students. From the library to e-learning rooms, JNU comprises all the basic and modern amenities. Some of these facilities provided by JNU include labs, seminar rooms, a university convocation centre, hostels, a mess, a cafeteria, a sports complex, a convenience store, etc. A few of the infrastructural USPs offered by JNU are discussed below:
- Library: The library of JNU is stocked with more than 6.3 lakh books, 5,000 titles, and around 1,600 CDs, journals, and reports. The JNU library consists of a central library that provides students and faculty members with easy access to the course and reference materials through a membership card.
- Hostel and Mess: JNU comprises 18 hostels, including 3,831 beds for boys and 3,005 beds for girls. It also offers around 86 Co-ed beds. The University currently provides residence to more than 5,000 students and faculty members. Along with the accommodation, the varsity also offers mess facilities to the students that can be availed by submitting a preference for a meal at the time of admission.

The main centre of the JNU College is situated at a distance of 3.8 km from the university's old campus. The approximate driving distance from New Delhi Railway Station to the JNU campus is 17 km.
