JNTUH BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2024
JNTUH offers BTech four-year degree with 32 specialisations. Admission is entrance based with the university accepting EAMCET scores conducted by the TSCHE, Hyderabad. Final seats are allotted on the basis of TS EAMCET counselling. Students with a valid score can apply for admission to BTech at JNTUH.

To take admission to the courses offered at JNTUH, candidates need to visit the official website of respective national-level entrance exam conducting bodies and fill out the application form in online mode. JNTUH BTech Application Process 2024: Important Documents
The documents required at the time of form filling are:

- Passing certificate and qualifying mark sheet

STEP 2: Shortlisting of Students & Release of Merit List
JNTUH shortlists students for BTech through its TS EAMCET entrance exam. The merit lists are released by the state-level exam-conducting bodies of the qualified candidates.
STEP 3: Counselling
After the merit list release, selected students are called for counselling rounds. For admission to the BTech course, TS EAMCET Counselling takes place.
STEP 4: Seat Allotment & Admission Confirmation
As per the round of counselling, seats are allotted to the eligible students. Further, the selected students can confirm their admission by paying the course fees.

To apply for BTech programme at JNTUH, aspirants are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria and take Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). The application form can be filled out on the EAMCET website (eamcet.tsche.ac.in). Students shortlisted based on entrance test scores are called for TS EAMCET counselling for seat allotment.
To apply for TS EAMCET 2025, candidates must have qualified Class 12 from a recognised board. The application procedure includes filling out of the application form, payment of fees, uploading of required documents, and taking a printout of the application form.

JNTUH BTech Scholarships 2024
As per the scheme of the Government of Telangana, economically underprivileged students of BTech are provided financial assistance across the course duration. Every year, students receive a tuition fee amount, a special fee along with the mess fee of INR 1,500 (only for nine months). Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) offers its flagship programme B.Tech for a duration of four years in 24 different specializations. Admission to the B.Tech programme is strictly done on the basis of the merits secured by the candidates in the TS EAMCET entrance exam followed by TS EAMCET counseling for the final seat allotments. The reservation criteria for admission in JNTU Hyderabad for CSE is based on the state governments reservation policy.
TS EAMCET exam is of 3 hrs duration and the question paper consists of total 160 questions comprising of 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry. All questions are of objective type (multiple choice) only and each question carries one mark. The syllabus in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and the model questions are available in TS EAMCET- Website.
JNTUH accepts state-level entrance exams - Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). This test is conducted under the guidelines of TSCHE. It is compulsory for students to have a valid TS EAMCET score to take admission. Candidates who qualify for this exam will be eligible to appear for EAMCET counselling process. TS EAMCET Engineering (E) stream examination will be conducted from May 7 to 11. Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test TS EAMCET/EAPCET will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). TS EAMCET 2024 is a state-level entrance test will be held in computer-based test mode for admission to various UG-level engineering, agriculture and medical courses. TS EAMCET exam date 2024 for engineering stream is May 9 to 11 while Agriculture and Pharmancy exam will be conducted from May 7 to 8.
Candidates willing to get admission to BTech at JNTUH must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. Aspirants who passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with 45% aggregate or Aspirants with a 3-year Diploma and a valid ECET rank are eligible to apply for admission to BTech at JNTUH. The last date to apply for TS EAMCET without late fee is April 4. Candidates must apply according to the TS EAMCET registration dates. Choosing JNTU Hyderabad CSE is best in my opinion because it is in a good city, whereas NIT Andhra Pradesh is in a village.
JNTUH is well established, whereas NIT Andhra Pradesh is still in the process
Even the fee will be higher for NIT Andhra Pradesh than JNTUH.
