Our college has good placements.
Placements: Roles offered are software engineer, data analyst, and data scientist. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro often recruit. Many students get internships. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and startups offer internships in our college. The placement percentage can be around 90–100%.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure effectively supports academic excellence and student well-being. It creates an environment. Where students can learn, innovate, and grow holistically. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. There are sports facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable and dedicated to helping students succeed. They encourage interactive learning. Faculty clarify doubts patiently and guide students in projects, internships, and research activities. The curriculum is well structured.

It is a pretty normal and decent college with limited facilities.
Placements: Coming to placements, our college is quite reliable. Almost 70 percent of students get placed if they maintain a CGPA of 8.5 or higher. The highest package offered on our campus is 24 LPA, and the minimum package is around 3.5 LPA. The placement opportunities are good here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course and hostel is quite good. Minimum facilities are provided, like a library, sports room, and separate laboratories equipped with computers. The hostel and food quality are not great compared to my expectations.
Faculty: Some faculty members are really good and treat us like their own siblings. They help us with exams and provide great explanations. Some faculty members are not that great. They lack respect and use bad language and explain worse than what we would find in 10th grade.
Other: My suggestion is to pursue an MBA at our college rather than a B.Tech because an MBA offers many more facilities and better opportunities.

Overall, my experience at the college is good.
Placements: 67.6 percent of students are placed 531 out of 882. 44 LPA is the package offered in the 2024 batch. Some major companies that visited GCET are Amazon, TCS, and Infosys. The exact official internship percentage is not published. Reviews indicate a good number of students get internships, mainly in TCS, Wipro Startups, through college drives.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available across campus, but it can be slow. Modern classrooms with projectors/digital boards. Well equipped labs for programming and department related practicals. Central library with a good collection of books, journals, and study materials. Clean and well maintained campus with good seating and study space.
Faculty: The curriculum is relevant, updated, and helps students become industry ready. Semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is usually 75 to 85 percent.
Other: I choose B.Tech (CSE), and my experience is good. I chose this course because of my Interest in tech + good career scope. The best thing about this is the Good faculty, labs, and placements. Needs Improvement in Wi-Fi and practical exposure. Good fests, friendly crowd, good connectivity, clean campus. Balanced college experience with good Learning and Placements. A Student friendly campus with reliable academics and growth. Decent infrastructure, helpful faculty, and good placement Support.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology

Review of VNRVJIET in Hyderabad.
Placements: Placements in our college are disappointing. Few companies visit the Mechanical and offer low salaries. They push us to IT jobs where we can only get low salaried roles. We are not given proper training for core companies rather, they always complain that we underperform during the drives.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, labs and all are good. Good hostel too. Decent food and good management. Everything is decent to a good range in the college. Wi-Fi is pretty weak in classrooms but good in hostel. There is a good library, but it is not used. I have done my B.Tech without stepping into the library.
Faculty: Some faculty are good, some are like psychos. It depends on your behaviour as well. Faculty expect everyone to be obedient and to act like a servant to them. Curriculum is good, depending on JNTUH. Exams are the worst regulations here in college. If you give 10,000, they pass the subjects.
Other: No further information.

Placements: 70 percent of the students are placed in the final year campus placements. Companies hiring are TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, and many other companies. The highest package offered is 14 LPA by Genpact, and the average package offered is 6 LPA with respect to their roles.
Infrastructure: The library is top notch in the college. Wi-Fi connection is also provided to the students. The classrooms are well equipped with proper working fans, Sports are conducted weekly once, hostels are good, and there are two canteens in the college with reasonable prices.
Faculty: The curriculum is related to the JNTU syllabus. Teachers are also friendly and help us in all aspects with years of experience on hand. The semester exams are conducted, and the exams are neither easy nor difficult with proper preparation, we can pass.
Other: Good college.

Infrastructure: Our course has good infrastructure and well-teaching and has available facilities, and we have Wi-Fi facility also, and we have big and pleasant classrooms for learning, and when coming to labs, we have sufficient requirements for labs and also boards and projectors available.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and they are also helpful to us. Also, they give good teaching that relates to our curriculum, and our semester exams are at a moderate level, they are more careful with us, and our course pass percentage is 86%.
Other: I chose this course to get a well-settled software job. I like the coding language, and I wish that to improve our course, to get an updated syllabus, and our college also conducts yearly fests and events.

Choosing JNTU Hyderabad CSE is best in my opinion because it is in a good city, whereas NIT Andhra Pradesh is in a village.

JNTUH is well established, whereas NIT Andhra Pradesh is still in the process

Even the fee will be higher for NIT Andhra Pradesh than JNTUH.
