Yes, Karunya is a good university. Karunya University has been ranked at the 1401-1500 position by the QS Sustainability Ranking 2026, 694 by the QS Asian University Rankings 2026, and 212 by the QS Asian University Rankings - Southern Asia 2026. Karunya University provides undergraduate, PG, & PhD programmes to students. 

Karunya University admissions will open online. Till now, no schedule has been released by the university. Once the application portal is live, candidates can apply online for their preferred course. Karunya University offers UG and PG courses such as BTech, MTech, MBA, etc. in online mode. The admission procedure is a mix of entrance and merit-based.

The total fee of BSc ranges between 3.02 L and 3.95 L. The fee, excludes exam fee, professional development and placement training fees. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates will also require to pay a registration fee to apply for admission.

Admission to some courses is entrance-based and some is merit-based. The university conducts KEE for shortlisting aspirants for BSc (Hons) Agriculture and BTech courses. MBA candidates are shortlisted based on the KMAT exam.
