Kashmir University MBA Courses & Fees 2025: Placement, Admission, Eligibility & Scholarship

Kashmir University MBA admission takes place through the CMAT entrance exam. Candidates can follow the steps below to get an understanding of the admission process of the university.

STEP 1: Apply for CMAT entrance exam

As the admissions take place through the CMAT entrance exam, candidates have to apply and appear for that exam to be eligible for admission in the MBA programme. A valid score is necessary to take admission into the university.

STEP 2: Kashmir University MBA Application Process 2025

Aspirants of MBA courses with a valid CMAT score can fill out the Kashmir University MBA application form. The application form will be available online and can be collected from the university campus as well. The steps involved in the online form filling and submission are:

Step 2.1: Visit Kashmir University's official website (kashmiruniversity.net).

Step 2.2: Register with basic details and generate a login ID and password.

Step 2.3: Login and, start filling out the online form and submit it on completion.

The documents required at the time of application form submission are as follows:

• Duly-attested copy of Class 10 marksheet
• Duly-attested copy of Class 12 marksheet
• Duly-attested copy of Bachelor’s marksheet
• Character certificate from the head of the institute last attended
• Category certificate (if applicable)

STEP 3: Kashmir University Selection

Once the CMAT results are out, candidates who are selected can appear for admission in the Kashmir University main campus or any affiliated college of the university. To finalise their admission into the programme candidates have to do the document verification and pay some amount of the tuition fee.

Kashmir University offers scholarships in any programme to its students, the scholarship types are as follows:

• Research Scholarships: Four scholarships in each branch leading to the award of PhD/MPhil programme.
• Merit Scholarships: Two merit scholarships which are paid to the top two merit holders. Merit scholarship in favour of previous year paid students is granted based on merit in the entrance test to the course or the previous examination.
• Students Aid: The Student Aid Fund offers financial assistance to students, particularly the meritorious ones who come from low-income groups. The Kashmir University Alumni Association also provides financial assistance to students with a poor economic background with preference being given to students who are orphans.
