Students should pass any of the national level entrance exams such as UCEED, NID Entrance Exam, NIFT Entrance Exam or CUET score. Those who have not qualified or appeared for any of the above entrance exams, should appear for LPUNEST. LPU conducts the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to several courses. LPUNEST is computer based test of 150 minutes. The test comprises 125 questions of 500 marks.

Apart from course fee, aspirants also have to pay a registration fee in the start for admission.

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based.  Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. LPU offers admission to BTech based on LPUNEST. Candidates apply for BTech CSE Software Product Engineering need to pass KQ test followed by a PI round. Additionally, candidates need to pass Class 12 in relevant subjects to apply for BTech course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat.
