LPU offers admission to MBA based on LPUNEST, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or NMAT score of the candidates followed by GDPI. Candidates must pass graduation with at least 55% aggregate or completed CS from the ICSI or CA from the ICAI or CMA from ICAI to apply for LPU MBA course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat. The total fee for LPU MBA course ranges between INR 1.60 lakh and INR 10 lakh. As per the latest report, the highest package offered during LPU MBA placements 2024 was INR 29.3 LPA. Further, the LPU MBA average package offered in 2024 was INR 7.80 LPA. The key highlights of LPU MBA placements 2023 and 2024 are tabulated below:

The placement percentage of MBA is yet to be released for the batch 2025. The MBA students of the batch 2025 secured the highest package of INR 49.4 LPA. Over 130 students achieved the salary between INR 10 LPA to INR 49.4 LPA. The average salary of top 10% was INR 13.6 LPA.  Earlier, LPU recorded 95% of placements for the MBA batch passed out in 2024.

Lovely Professional University accepts LPUNEST/ LPUNEST/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT scores for admission to the MBA course. During the LPU CAT cutoff 2024, the overall CAT percentile was 70 for the General All India category candidates. LPU CAT percentile remain constant from the last three years. So, considering the past three years cutoff percentile, LPU CAT 2025 percentile is also expected to ranged between 70 to 75 for General category.

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based.  Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.

The remote proctored exam and test centre exam will begin on April 4, 2026. The remote proctored exam will be conducted till April 20, 2026, and test centre exam will be conducted till April 30, 2026. 

Students can get provisional admission and confirm their seats by paying a nominal fees. The nominal fees is INR 10,000. This applies to all courses and would be adjusted against the programme fees of the semester. MSc Agriculture and MA Hindi/ Punjabi are exempted from this case.
