Reality of Lovely Professional University.

Placements: Companies come for placements, but most of them are sales-based companies rather than technical companies. Many students who are good at technical skills still do not get placed after graduation. Overall, it is good, but most students get placed in sales companies rather than roles related to their department, which creates problems for students. If we consider the overall placement percentage, including sales and IT, it might be around 85-90%. But if you don't get a job in your desired role or department, it doesn't create much value for you.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The college regularly works on improving and updating facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classroom lighting, etc. There are also different sports grounds for different types of sports. If I talk about the hostel and mess, the hostel facility is good. If you face any difficulty, you can raise a request through their portal or complain about your problem directly to the warden. The warden also suggests solutions or tries to solve the problem. Overall, the hostel department is good and not that bad.

Faculty: Some faculty members are very good, but some are not as knowledgeable. The college is currently hiring more teachers, so some new teachers are not that experienced. If I talk about the curriculum and whether it makes students industry-ready, it depends on both the students and the teachers. Some teachers are good and teach students according to industry requirements, while others just come, do their work, and leave without providing much guidance.

Other: If we talk about the campus crowd and connectivity, they are very good. There is a huge crowd on campus, although sometimes having such a large crowd can also be difficult. There are different types of events, scholarships, and extracurricular activities happening regularly, giving students opportunities to explore new things. Overall, the campus is very good for exploring new opportunities, but for studies, it is average.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Students need to enroll in placement classes to take the placement, and students are forced to take placement even if they don't like it. The maximum package is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Kandhari Beverages and GreyB. Half of the students got internships in companies like Kandhari Beverages and Shreejeebappa Foods. Most of the roles include sales jobs and quality executive jobs.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are available and fully functional with smart boards. Wi-Fi service is available in the college as well as the hostel, labs, and library. As I am not a hosteller, so I won't be able to comment about food there, but as heard from the students the facilities are good. Canteens are available everywhere on the campus. Medical facilities are available at all times. Sports facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and qualified. The teaching style is good, and most of the faculty members are PhDs. Scholarships are also available, but you need to give the LPU NEST exam. Scholarships are given according to the test score. The course curriculum is relevant and updated. Exams are of good quality and very relevant.

The lavish green campus is the best thing for a night walk.

Placements: The placement cell is genuinely good. Placement classes are taught by industry experts who teach us new-gen tech. 90 percent of students got placed last year. The highest package is 64 LPA. All big tech giants also come but there is a crowd issue.

Infrastructure: Hostel is good, with a dedicated north/south mess. The food is average but the new hostels are very good. 24-hour Wi-Fi, a study room, AC, etc., are available. The university has a central library which is huge you can find everything. The good thing is the Mac lab where you can do iOS development.

Faculty: Almost every faculty member has a Ph.D. and industry experience; the exams are not that hard, but you still have to put in effort. There is no traditional backlog system here is reappear after 6 reappear attempt you will get backlog which I don't think anybody is having.

Other: There is always something happening in the University Police Auditorium. Many events like DJ nights, musical events, and sports events, and many national and state-level opportunities, but there is a crowd.

Good college, social, and campus life, but should work on placements and practical exposure.

Placements: 20 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 3.6 LPA. Nearby hospitals include Tagore Hospital, and there is one placement at SBBS College, Kapurthala. 50 percent got placed in hospitals such as Fortis Mohali, PIMS Jalandhar, and Tagore Hospital as junior laboratory technicians. One student got selected as an associate professor too.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are available with proper reagents. There are smart classes. Hostel quality is decent with Wi-Fi and average food. Medical facilities are good, with ambulance support. Sports facilities are good with indoor and outdoor complexes. Moreover students can choose to go wherever they like as there are dedicated playgrounds for every sport such as cricket, football, archery, or indoor and outdoor complexes for basketball, swimming, and a gymnasium, which are subscription-based.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. The course curriculum is completely relevant. We need some more focus on industry updates and new equipment. Exam difficulty is average. 40 percent is the passing mark, with questions arising from a basic understanding of the subject, neither too deep nor superficial.

Other: I chose this course as I had an interest in microbiology and I'm from life sciences and the best part is public service. Things that could be better are more practical exposure and good campus life with events and fests from the university.

LPU: Our branch facilities and placement review.

Placements: Here too, to get placement, in our college students have more chances than students in other colleges. The chance of getting a job in the top 10 percent at our university totally depends on students making good projects and studying accordingly. The highest package in our course is 10 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA. Internship chances depend on doing good projects and studying.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is big, and it is fully modernized. Most of the facilities are top-notch. There are campus Wi-Fi connection issues, and network problems are one of the big concerns. Other facilities, like labs, are good and all equipment is present. Hostel facilities are also good. Mess food is decent. Sports and medical services are well managed by the department.

Faculty: Faculty got high packages with their qualifications and they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They use modern systems for teaching purposes, and all are helpful to students. I like their service as a student. Our course is not relevant for placement because in our college the most preferred branches are CSE B.Tech and computer-related branches. Semester examinations are moderate and sometimes hard, but most students find them easy to pass according to their study and hard work. I think 80 percent is the pass percentage.

Review of LPU agriculture department.

Placements: For the B.Sc. Agriculture, around 30 percent of students were placed in this course. Top recruiting companies were UPL, ITC-Agri, and Mahindra Agri. For the internship, our college sends everyone to the local area for research and development of projects. The top roles of this agriculture course were researcher, agronomist, farm manager, etc.

Infrastructure: This college had a huge campus. It provided facilities like a big farming field with equipment. The classrooms were big in size and had centralized AC and a projector. A huge library was here with a capacity of more than 2000 students. The quality of food was average. The hostel rooms were small in size. All types of sports were played here.

Faculty: Teachers were more experienced, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was top-notch. The course curriculum was relevant and it made students industry-ready. We had 8 subjects per semester and exams were slightly difficult. The pass percentage was 40 percent on each paper.
