The placement details are not available for the recent batch 2023 on the official website. NLU Assam offers good placements for its BA LLB course. However, the institute has released the NIRF report 2023 on its official website. According to the NIRF report 2023, 1 BA LLB student was placed during NLU Assam placements 2021. The University provides a five-year integrated course called B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Course, in which the first two years of study combine law courses with Social Science disciplines like Economics, History, Political Science, and Sociology as well as an English language course. For the first three years of school, every topic is required. But in the fourth and fifth years, students can choose from five different streams of optional subjects: Corporate and Intellectual Property Law; Administrative and Constitutional Law; Consumer Protection and Environmental Law; Criminal Law and Criminology; and International Law and Human Rights. The Semester System is used by the NLUJA. There are two semesters in each academic year, making the complete Five-Year Course divided into ten semesters.

By passing the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009, the Assam government established the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA). It's one of India's autonomous law schools. In 2021 the institute was ranked 20 among the law universities by NIRF. The NLUJAA offers a one-year degree curriculum in LLM and a five-year integrated course in BA-LLB (Hons). A PhD in law is also offered by the university. The 60-acre, lush, verdant campus is located outside of Guwahati in the Amingaon neighbourhood. The academic and administrative buildings, as well as the dorms for boys and girls, are located on campus. 

The NLU Assam CLAT Cutoff 2026 was released till Round 1 for admission to various law couses at UG and PG level. The cutoff was published in the form of opening and closing ranks for all categories belonging to the All India and Home State quota. 

The NLU Assam Cutoff 2026 ranged from 1322 to 1764 for enrolment in the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM course for the General AI category, according to the Round 1 closing ranks. Yes, NLU Assam accepts CLAT score. Candidates who are looking for degree course admission at National Law University & Judicial Academy, Assam must have a valid CLAT score. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) began the CLAT 2025 Registration on July 15, 2025. Candidates can fill the CLAT Application Form 2025 until October 15, 2024. All interested candidates can fill out the CLAT Application Form 2025 by visiting the official website; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. CLAT 2025 Application fees must be paid by the candidates as mentioned in the CLAT Exam Notification. The CLAT 2025 Notification was released on July 7, detailing important dates for CLAT Registration 2025.

NLU Assam cutoff 2024 is out for CLAT Round 4 as of now. CNLU is expected to release ranks up to Round 5 for NLU Assam CLAT cutoff. For admission to BA LLB (Hons) course at NLUJAA candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT 2025 counselling will be called by NLUJAA through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists. Those, who have been allotted a seat in the NLU Assam Provisional Allotment Lists, must complete the process of exercising any one of the actions mentioned below:

1. Accept the allotted seat
2. Apply for Revise
3. Exit from the CLAT admission process

If alloted seat is accepted by the candidate. After, that the candidates need to report to NLU Assam for admission. The admission confirmation requires, documents submission and fees submission by the candidates through the official portal of NLU Assam.
