The NALSAR cutoff 2026 may only be available to the students who appeared for the entrance exam using their registered login ID and password. The NALSAR Clat cutoff is generally not released on public platform.
NALSAR Hyderabad cutoff is released in the form of opening and closing ranks at the official website of CLAT. NLU Hyderabad BA LLB (Hons) and LLM admission is based on the CLAT score, followed by the CLAT Counselling process. NALSAR University of Law considers entrance exam scores for admission to most of the courses. CLAT is accepted for admission to popular courses of NALSAR-BA LLB (Hons) and LLM. Common Law Admission Test, known as CLAT, is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). CLAT is an offline exam and include sections on English, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. Besides, the university accepts IPMAT, JIPMAT, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses.
NALSAr University of Law offers admission to LLM programme through CLAT score. To get admission to the LLM programme, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:
1. LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (For candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ PwD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI category),
or
2. LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate (For candidates belonging to SC/ ST category).

Aspirants who have passed a three-year LLB course with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for NALSAR University of Law LLM programme. However, admission committee may decide to reduce the percentage of qualifying exam. Aspirants appearing for the qualifying exam in April/ May are also eligible to apply.
NALSAR Hyderabad follows a fee refund policy for students who exits or fails to pay the fee. Below are the conditions for fee refund:
- In case an aspirant exits or fails to pay fee due to NALSAR within the prescribed date, or is found ineligible upon document verification are refunded an amount of INR 20,000 as confirmation fee and INR 5,000 of counselling registration fee.
- In respect of the candidate who does not turn-up for the interview/ on the date notified by the university for document verification, 10% of the tuition fee is retained by the university and the balance amount

NALSAR University of Law admissions opens with the online application portal. The applications for MBA usually begin in October and goes on till February.
For BBA, the applications open online usually in the first week of January. The application window closed by May.
The applications for BA LLB (Hons) and LLM opens with CLAT registration. The application window for CLAT 2026 has been closed. The CLAT Exam 2026 was held on December 7, 2025. However, the CLAT 2027 Exam Date has not been announced yet.
NALSAR University of Law admit candidates to the BA LLB (Hons) programme on the basis of merit in the CLAT exam. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with a 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) are eligible for admission to the integrated course. Further, the eligible students can visit the CLAT official website to register and apply for the examination.
Following the announcement of CLAT result, candidate who meet the cutoff marks can participate in CLAT counselling. In counselling, the seat allotment and document verification process is carried out. Selected candidates can pay the admission fee amount to confirm their seat.
As per the eligibility criteria specified by NALSAR University, the minimum required aggregate ranges between 45% and 50%. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 have a chance of getting admission in the university. Besides, candidates also need to qualify the accepted entrance exam. Aspirants wishing to pursue BA LLB (Hons) must appear for CLAT. For BBA, aspirants with IPMAT, JIPMAT or CLAT score can apply for admission.
