The teaching staff are really good at teaching and they give their best to help the students.

Placements: In the first and fourth sem, we do not get opportunities for the internship, but in the fifth and sixth sem, we get the opportunity for the internship and jobs. We even have couriers consulting facilities where we can go from the first sem onwards, they guide us in pursuing our goals.

Infrastructure: We have many clubs in our college, so it was up to your interest what you want to choose. We have NCC, dance and culture club, etc. In the beginning of our college, we had many programs like fresher and meet up, and after that we even had many books in our library. There were more than 5000 books, and you can borrow them for 1 week with the help of our college ID, and you can even access some online links and read all the books that you want for free.

Faculty: Our teaching staff were really nice and they really tried their best to solve students problems. From our department, I like our HOD, he was really nice and funny too. I like one of our teachers too, his name was Ricky, he was really sweet and nice. In our college, only one exam was conducted, which was the end semester examination, and before that, we had a practical exam for our internal marks.

The college has playgrounds and good infrastructure.

Placements: We have good placements here in our area. Above 55% have been placed in the companies and the college. The highest package in my course has been allotted is 7 Lacs and the lowest one was around 2 Lacs, with an average of 4.5 Lacs. Assistant and the opportunity to be appointed in a Ph.D. course.

Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure, and the buildings are well-maintained. Classrooms are well-furnished and have TV, Wi-Fi, Projectors, and Computers. Labs are well-maintained with every single equipment and thing. Hostels are divided into two buildings, one for girls and one for boys. The mess is also good.

Faculty: In the University, the professors and the teachers are highly qualified and have more knowledge. They have completed their Masters, and some of them have done their Ph.D. in their field. Exams are difficult, but the staff are so helpful; they help and explain the whole concepts again.

The university has a good campus and placement.

Placements: 76% have been placed in good companies in my department. The highest package is 7 Lacs, the lowest is 3 Lacs, and the average package is 5 Lacs. Most students got internships from the campus and were placed in the same university. The companies are Nova and Chemical India Limited.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-maintained and well-furnished. Every classroom has separate Wi-Fi, TV, projector, and computer. Hostels are well-maintained and provide good quality food with a variety of different menus. Medical camps and sports events are held every 3 months.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful to the students. They are highly qualified from a central university, and most of them have a Master’s and Ph.D. Exams are pretty difficult, but the staff are supportive and helpful, and the course curriculums include the same topics from the industry.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. Almost 99% of students got placed in our college. Microsoft and Infosys visit our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well-mannered. The mess and canteen are good. The interior is very good.

Faculty: Our professors make our students skilled. All faculty members are highly dedicated. They are experts in India who know how to handle students and their minds. We have to study hard and make ourselves skilled.

No, you cannot pursue MA Sociology at NEHU Shillong without CUET.

NEHU Shillong requires CUET PG scores for admission to all PG programmes including MA Sociology. The university has made CUET mandatory for UG and PG admissions.

CUET PG 2025 application deadline has been extended to February 8, 2025.
