In general, the admission process begins in March every year. For the admission session 2025-26, the application process started with the registration process of CUET on the official website of NTA. The university accepts CUET-UG for admission to its PG-integrated courses. To appear for the same, students must have completed their Class 12 with relevant subjects. Additionally, for some courses, candidates are also required to fill out the application form by visiting the university official website.
Students who want admission to PG courses should apply online on the official website. Given below is the application fee for all programmes:

Pondicherry University offers admission to the MD courses on the basis of valid MD PG scores, followed by the NEET PG counselling process. The expected cutoff ranks and marks for Pondicherry University NEET PG medical branches based on previous ranks is as follows for R1 for the General category:
- MD in Community Medicine must range between 26267 and 26959
- MD in Microbiology must range between 30320 and 130525
- MD in Anatomy must range around 47916
