RTU KOTA BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Admission Dates & Eligibility

Candidates have to register online at the respective RTU web portals, by mode of Net banking/ ATM card/ Debit Card/ Credit Card, etc. After successful submission of application forms, candidates will be redirected to the college choice form for entering the required choices of institutes and branches. Candidates can Save or Lock their choices. Once Locked, no further modifications can be made to the choices. In the case of management quota seats, candidates have to send a demand draft of INR 250 payable in favor of Convenor REAP to the respective institute where candidates seek admission.

The step-wise RTU application process is mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the respective online web portals

Step 2: Deposition of Application cum registration form fee

Step 3: Fill out the online Application cum registration form, and college choice form, and upload the required documents.

Step 4: Candidates will receive confirmation E-mail/ message at registered E-mail ID/ mobile no. after successful submission of Application cum registration form and college choice form

Step 5: Take a printout of the form and keep it for future references

Documents Required at the time of admission

Candidates are required to carry the below-mentioned list of documents at the time of reporting to the allotted institute:

• Printout of provisional seat allotment letter. Candidate should paste their recent color photographs on the Application cum Registration form with one additional coloured photograph.
• Aadhar card/ Aadhar acknowledgment receipt if available
• Class 10 mark sheet/ certificate as proof of date of birth
• JEE Main rank card
• Class 12 or diploma mark sheet
• Certificate of category issued by the competent authority (if applicable)
• Undertaking by OBC/MBC in the required format (for non-creamy layer), (if applicable)
• Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD)/ Ex-Servicemen (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate
• Income certificate
• Medical fitness certificate
• Fee to be deposited at the Institute.

NOTE: Candidates cannot apply for two application forms for the same course. However, there is a provision to cancel the already submitted application form and fill a new application form by depositing the required application fees.

As per the University Department website of RTU, more than 400 students get scholarships under various government schemes every year and close to 200 students get financial assistance from numerous NGOs and organisations. Rajasthan Technical University also offers scholarships to its students. A few of the RTU scholarships are mentioned below:

Apart from the above-mentioned scholarships, the University also runs externally funded projects for Research students. This external funding is associated with CSIR, UGC, DST, ISRO, DRDO, AICTE, DAE, and Ministry.
