Q:   Are NCERT books enough to cover CUET syllabus?
A:

NTA has mentioned that CUET UG 2026 syllabus will adhere to NCERT syllabus. Hence, it can be assumed that the NCERT books are enough to cover the syllabus of the CUET UG exam. Satisfied because of the faculty and good placements in recent years.
Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed. The salary package offered is 29 LPA. The lowest salary package is 2.4 LPA. Almost 50% of students got internships in the core and IT branches. Bosch, Rockwell Collins, Cisco, Caterpillar, Coreel, Cypress, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Zoho, Amazon, PayPal, L&T, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, these are the top companies that visited in the past years.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure available for your course/department, for example- Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. A better quality of the facilities in your hostel. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen. The college provides medical, sports, and games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is relevant mostly practically, as students learn together in labs. The level of difficulty is moderate when studying one day before, as you can't get good grades.
Other: An ECE-focused post indicates about 50% placement for core roles and coding/IT roles, with approximately 100 ECE students placed in a batch. Another comment suggests that only a smaller number of core recruiters visit for ECE, making coding roles more common.

It is a good college with decent environment
Placements: In the last academic year, 75% of students are placed in different companies. The highest package is ₹43 LPA, while the lowest was approximately ₹6 LPA. TCS is the top recruiter of the college; other than that, Infosys and HCL are minor recruiters. The internship percentage is nearly 45% over three years.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel and college (in the library and classrooms). Classrooms consist of projectors with proper seating arrangements according to the strength of students. The library consists of study halls and at least 10,000 books. Labs are equipped with all necessary equipment.
Faculty: The lecturers are Ph.D. graduates who encourage students to solve problems by participating in hackathons. This helps not only in studying for college exams but also in gaining practical knowledge. The level of study is quite hard compared to others.

SASTRA (Deemed to be University)
Placements: In the academic year 2025, nearly 250 students are placed in our branch in both IT. The placement percentage may be approximately 70 to 75% across the campus. The highest package is 34 LPA for a CSE branch student, but the lowest package is 6 LPA. I think in 3 years, few will get internships.
Infrastructure: The classrooms have suitable sitting arrangements for students and are provided with projectors. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The library is filled with over 10,000 books and has a study hall. The labs consist of all the equipment required for academics. The mess is good, but it is a vegetarian college.
Faculty: The lecturers are mostly Ph.D. graduates, who are also enrolled in projects based on the IT sector in the college. We also have practical work, either for studying for college exams or industrial visits. It is quite hard as compared to other colleges. The pass percentage is nearly 56%.
