If you want to achieve new things, come to Sastra.
Placements: During this academic year, nearly most of the students are placed in our branch in both IT and core sectors. The placement percentage is approximately 75 to 80 across the campus. The highest package is 40 LPA for a CSE branch student. But in our branch, the highest is 25 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classes are good enough with a sitting arrangement for 60 students, provided with a projector. The library contains more than 10,000 books. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. Labs contain all the equipment that is required. The hostel rooms are quite good, but the mess is average.
Faculty: Most of the lecturers are Ph.D. graduates, who are also enrolled in projects in the college research center. This course is relevant with proper lessons. We also have practical work, which is quite hard compared to other colleges. It feels tricky in the MID exams, but in the semester exams, it is easy to score.

Overall, it is a good place to get a job if you utilize the resources.
Placements: Here, the top package is 37 LPA this year. The average package is 6-8 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA for Electronics and Communication Engineering. Both core and software jobs are available. Even startups are funded.
Infrastructure: There is a wide range of labs, especially if you’re into research. There are many specialized labs. The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has offered funding to many more labs. The classroom infrastructure is also good. As for the hostels, the new ones are good, while the old ones are manageable.
Faculty: The scores are based on CGPA, with SGPA calculated for each semester. Each subject’s score is composed of 50% internals and 50% externals. All faculty members for this course hold doctorates. They are knowledgeable and approachable. You can learn a lot from them, and they are always ready to help.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty and good placements in past recent years.
Placements: 95% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 29 LPA, and lowest package offered is 2.4LPA. Recruiting companies are Zoho, TCS Digital, Face, Cisco, and Amazon. 50% of students got internships in core and IT at Bosch, Rockwell Collins, Cisco, Caterpillar, Corel, Cypress, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Zoho, Amazon, PayPal, L&T, Cognizant, Accenture, and Infosys. These are the top companies that visited in past years.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure available for our course/department (e.g. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. A better quality of the facilities in our hostel. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is relevant mostly practically students who learn together in labs. Level of difficulty is moderate when studying one day before, as you can't get good grades.
Other: ECE focused post indicates about 50% placement for core roles and coding/IT roles, with approximately 100 ECE students placed in a batch. Another comment suggests that only a smaller number of core recruiters visit for ECE, making coding roles more common.

With 95.5% in IPE and 90 percentile in JEE Mains, your combined score is strong enough for SASTRA’s ECE cutoff in recent years.

Past admissions show students with slightly lower marks have still got ECE.

You’re not guaranteed, but chances are high if you apply in both streams.

The chances are very low to get the ECE branch in Sastra, as the cutoff for the ECE branch this year was about 988 in IPE alone (stream 2). But in stream 1 (ipe+ mains), you should have about 95 percentile in mains for those ipe marks.

If you are ready to take any branch seat maybe you can get something in 3rd counselling . But you are expecting ECE seat which is not even possible . If you want to apply in stream it requires 970-985 marks in IPE and the Jee AIR rank has to be in below 40,000

If you have enough marks with a range above 980 out of 1000 . You can apply for stream2 and you can get your seat in Sastra B.Tech in ECE.
