Good placements with supportive faculty and good infrastructure.
Placements: I am in my third year and they provide good placement as of last month, 3021 job offers were recorded in the 2026 batch. The highest package till now is 41.2 LPA, the average is around 10 LPA-20 LPA and the lowest is around 4 LPA-5 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, NatWest, Capgemini, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, HCL, Virtusa are visiting our campus. For third-year students, they are acquiring internships with potential full-time conversion by companies like Amazon, NatWest, and Oracle providing valuable industry exposure.
Infrastructure: The Computer Science department along with other specialisation departments has well-equipped classrooms and labs that meet the requirements of students in the CSE domain supporting both academic and practical learning. The college provides lunch every day based on general dietary needs and the quality of food served is good. Apart from academics, the campus has facilities like an outdoor sports ground, indoor game areas, and a well-maintained library. There is also a startup cell where students can work on their ideas and some projects receive funding support from the college.
Faculty: The teachers are supportive, knowledgeable, and explain concepts. The course curriculum is regularly updated according to current industry trends and the practical sessions are aligned with emerging technologies and the tools that help students become industry-ready.

Very high placements (packages) for the top few students.
Placements: You get almost 10 top recruiting companies like Amazon, JPMorgan Chase, Natwest, OFSS, Justpay, Motorq, etc. These companies offer packages ranging from 50 LPA to 20 LPA. Level 2 companies are start-up companies, and you get around 20 start-up companies, also offering very good 10+ LPA packages. Level 3 companies are all service-based companies, and other smaller companies are looking for students. Some HR and business-facing roles are also offered here. Salary range between 4 LPA and 12 LPA. Training programs are conducted by the placement cell for placement preparation.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, but from what I've been told by my hostel friends, hostels are not too bad. Water is a bit of an issue, as Sathyabam hostels give water only 3 hrs a day, so students have to fill water in buckets for later use. As for course infrastructure, it's pretty good. I am a specialization student, so we have 24/7 AC, access to good-quality computer systems, green boards, white boards, and projectors in the class itself. The specializations block also has very high-tech labs with the latest technology.
Faculty: Faculty is a hit-and-miss. Sometimes you get professors who feel like they could be teaching in IIT, sometimes you get professors who make you wonder how they managed to get a teaching degree. The curriculum is very industry-relevant, but not so much that just reading the course material will be enough for placements.

Good placements and college life.
Placements: Placements for our CSE 2027 batch at Sathyabama are looking good. Around 92 percent of students are usually placed. Big companies like Amazon, Oracle, and Cognizant visit regularly every year. The top role offered is that of a software engineer, and packages go up to 41 LPA, though the average is closer to 5.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is good. There are new blocks being built here every year, with their own labs inside. While some of the old buildings lack maintenance and the new buildings are properly maintained. The college food is also better than most colleges, it is available for all the students every day. There are also separate mess halls for vegetarian and non-vegetarian students.
Faculty: The faculty for CSE are generally very helpful and good at teaching stuff. The curriculum is updated to include modern teaching and make it relevant for industry placements. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, if you do well in internal tests, you will easily pass. The pass percentage is usually high, around 90 percent.

Very good infrastructure and a good environment.
Placements: I am from the 2023-2027 batch, pursuing B.E. Computer Science with specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 75 to 80% students from our course get placed. The highest package offered is around 50 LPA. The average package is about 5 to 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Classrooms are quite spacious and well-maintained. Labs are equipped with high-tech systems and software required for practical learning and hands-on experience. I am a day scholar so I don't have personal experience with hostel facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable in the departments. Most teachers are well-qualified and explain concepts clearly. They are approachable and help students who need. Semester exams are moderately difficult. With regular studies, we can pass.

Good IT placements but limited core opportunities.
Placements: Sathyabama University has a placement percentage of around 90% with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 40 LPA. Most recruiters are from IT and software companies, offering roles in consultancy services or developer roles. Core company opportunities for branches like ECE are limited, and the guidance is less compared to IT or CSE students. Placement training programs are provided, which are helpful for those interested in software roles. Overall, placements are good if you are aiming for the IT sector by upskilling yourself under their guidance.
Infrastructure: Sathyabama has free Wi-Fi access for students in the Central Library and labs for academic work. In classrooms, electronic devices are strictly restricted during class hours. College buses and lunch in the mess are free for both hostlers and day scholars. The canteen facility is also available.
Faculty: The faculty, curriculum, and exams are average and require extra effort from the students' side to get a deeper understanding of the concepts. Often, students are encouraged in academics through scholarships and gifts for the top rankers in each department every year.

It is a good college with good infrastructure and supportive faculty.
Placements: The highest package offered is around 10-12 LPA and the average package is about 4 LPA-5 LPA. Last year, a senior from the mechatronics department was placed for 12 LPA, and they have a good placement training programme where the students are categorized based on their knowledge and taught.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure and lab facilities with Wi-Fi zones and projector-equipped classrooms, and each department has its major lab block where all types of laboratory equipment are present. They have mega classrooms for conducting events.
Faculty: The faculty are well-experienced and qualified in their respective subjects. They guide us well for our projects and startups. The faculty members also focus on our practical knowledge, not only teaching the theory alone, but also give us some projects to do based on the subject domains.
