Placements: The highest package is around 45 LPA and the average is 5.5 LPA for 2026 batch. More than 87 percent of students who apply for placements get an offer. Infrastructure: The college has free user accessible Wi-Fi for students in the library. The library is a peaceful place to do u your work. Sathyabama is famous for its placements and their food. The food is amazing. Clean environment and the culture are all great.
Faculty: The teachers act as your mentors and help you to understand concepts and implement them practically as well. The curriculum integrated practical learning with theoretical concepts. The pass percent is 50 percent overall. Out of 100 marks, 50 are internal marks and 50 are semester marks.

My Experience at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology.
Placements: The placement amount was 91.87% last year. Over 3365 students were placed out of 3662. The highest salary package offered was approximately 41 LPA, and the average package is approximately 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Cognizant, IBM, Oracle, etc. Students got placed in companies such as zoho, Capgemini, etc. I don’t remember the percentage of students who got internships. Roles offered are Software Engineer, Full-stack Developer, Data Analyst, DevOps Engineer, and so on.
Infrastructure: I haven't been in the hostels, so I don’t know about their quality. I heard that it’s good from my friends who stay in the hostels. Food is good for a number of people. They serve daily, both non-veg and veg. But strictly, they follow the rule to serve veg on Fridays at the mess. Canteen offers good food and a respectable quantity. I don't dabble in sports, but I have heard of some events.
Faculty: Teachers are very interactive. They desire for students to reach out and clarify doubts in the subjects related to the course. Theoretical and practical applications are taught through lessons. Semester examinations are tough but not unfair. A proper understanding of the curriculum makes the exam easier.

Placements and foods are really good here.
Placements: 93% of students got placed last year. The highest package was 53 LPA, and the lowest was 2-3 LPA. Recruiting companies are HCL and Cognizant. 70% of students got internships with companies like Accenture, Cognizant, and HCL. Students are offered roles like front-end, back-end, full-stack developer, graphic designer, and many more.
Infrastructure: The hostel is somewhat bad here. The food is better compared to other universities. Labs are somewhat mediocre, and classrooms are also mediocre. Canteens are always crowded, while the research park is somewhat good. There are many blocks, which makes it hard to find labs.
Faculty: Only a few faculty members are friendly with us, whereas the majority of them talk to students in a rude manner. They also lack vocabulary in their communication with students. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are easy to moderate level. The passing percentage is also pretty good.

I am very satisfied.
Placements: 5 percent of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 36 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. 60 percent of students got internships in companies like Tech Mahindra, Rudra Information Solutions, HCL, and many other companies. Placements are good, and we have the best companies on campus. Students who have good CPA and knowledge get placed.
Infrastructure: We have big libraries to gain knowledge with peaceful vibes. The hostel facilities are average. The food is good in the canteen. There is a big and nice auditorium. Sports and cultural fests are held and are good to enjoy. I love them, but still, if they leave us early, it would be good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and easy to approach. The curriculum is relevant and AI is a blooming industry; we recommend it. The semester exams are actually a bit tough if you don’t learn. But they are easy if you have read about your lessons and all. So I would recommend focusing on the internal exams that are conducted.
Other: I was interested in the blooming environment of AI. So I chose it.

Placements: My college offers excellent placement support with strong and best companies like Amazon, CTS, and other top MNCs with good packages. The placement cell provides good support and guidelines. College helps in preparing a good and strong knowledge for the placement.
Infrastructure: College has a good infrastructure with good classrooms and teachers. The college has good classrooms, and the environment makes us feel good to study and cover our portion, and helps us to score good marks. The library has a good quality of books and computers.
Faculty: The teaching is very good, and they teach the concepts very clearly. All the teachers are knowledgeable and highly qualified. They support us in both our academic and our career-based goals. Teachers are very friendly, and the interaction with them creates a good environment.

Very high placements (packages) for the top few students.
Placements: You get almost 10 top recruiting companies like Amazon, JPMorgan Chase, Natwest, OFSS, Justpay, Motorq, etc. These companies offer packages ranging from 50 LPA to 20 LPA. Level 2 companies are start-up companies, and you get around 20 start-up companies, also offering very good 10+ LPA packages. Level 3 companies are all service-based companies, and other smaller companies are looking for students. Some HR and business-facing roles are also offered here. Salary range between 4 LPA and 12 LPA. Training programs are conducted by the placement cell for placement preparation.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, but from what I've been told by my hostel friends, hostels are not too bad. Water is a bit of an issue, as Sathyabam hostels give water only 3 hrs a day, so students have to fill water in buckets for later use. As for course infrastructure, it's pretty good. I am a specialization student, so we have 24/7 AC, access to good-quality computer systems, green boards, white boards, and projectors in the class itself. The specializations block also has very high-tech labs with the latest technology.
Faculty: Faculty is a hit-and-miss. Sometimes you get professors who feel like they could be teaching in IIT, sometimes you get professors who make you wonder how they managed to get a teaching degree. The curriculum is very industry-relevant, but not so much that just reading the course material will be enough for placements.

Very satisfied experience with placements in 2025, really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Almost 90% of students are placed in top tech companies with good packages. The lowest package that students of my course received is around 4.5 LPA, and the highest is around 50 LPA at companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Motorq, which are the highest-paying recruiters. Around 80-90% of students get placed in their pre-final year as interns in top companies like Nokia and Amazon. The roles offered in my course are mostly SDE and SDET with lucrative packages.
Infrastructure: The classrooms provide free Wi-Fi with high-speed 5G connectivity, and computers with high-speed Ethernet connectivity are also available. The supercomputing lab provides access to supercomputers for AI-related high-performance activities. The hostels are neat and clean and are regularly maintained. The food provided in hostels is really good and worth it. For medical facilities, the college provides free medicine for those in need, with a pharmacy available on campus. The college also gives importance to sports and games equally, as they focus on academics.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful to students and qualified enough to provide high-quality teaching. The course curriculum is very relevant to the job market, and learning it makes students industry-ready to perform and sustain well in placed companies. The semester exams are not very tough and are relatively easy since the concepts are clearly explained by the teachers during class hours. The pass percentage is a minimum of 50%.
Other: I chose my course because of my interest and the demand for AI in big tech companies. To upskill myself and gain relevant knowledge, I chose this course. The best thing about my course is the hands-on experience with AI tools and supercomputers available in our college to do our own experiments. The culture is really good and exciting, with many activities and songs, along with multiple celebrities visiting the college.

For engineering, it's a good college.
Placements: We have good placements in college. Many companies visit the college for placements. If we have skills, we will be placed in any of companies. The highest package is 50 LPA. We will have an opportunity if we have good skills to get placed.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, but the food is okay. When it comes to food, they need to make good food for students who are in the hostel. Everyone can eat lunch at the mess, so no extra money needs to be paid.
Faculty: Our college has good faculty members. All faculty members are well-educated, so there is no need to worry about them. They will support us in every way possible to develop our skills and to learn new things, so that we can gain more knowledge by taking help from the faculty members. Many courses available are good.
