Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU): Cutoff 2026, Fees, Courses, Placement, Admission and Ranking

Pune University is affiliated with several institutions and colleges that offer MBA courses. The mode of study for the PG course at these colleges is full-time/part-time/distance/correspondence. The total tuition fee for MBA at SPPU and its affiliated colleges is between INR 35,000 and INR 36 lakh. Savitribai Phule Pune University offers MBA courses through the Department of Management Sciences known as PUMBA and several other affiliated colleges. To get admission in SPPU for BSc Blended programme candidates are required to  pass in Class 12 or equivalent from a statutory or recognised board/ university in India. Eligible candidates are than required to take the Online Entrance Examination (OEE), which is conducted by the centralized system of SPPU. The total tuition fees for LLM is INR 66,800-INR 1.8 lakh at SPPU. Candidates selected for admission have to pay the programme fees to confirm their seat. Aspirants need to pay INR 800 to apply for OEE for admission in LLM.

The fee for BA LLB is INR 99,550 to INR 2.64 lakh, depending on the offering institute. The highest fee is of INR 2.64 Lacs offered by BA LLB Shankarrao Chavan Law College.

UniPune cutoff for MArch course is based on MAH MArch CET scores. As per the cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing ranks for Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samthas Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture For Women and Aayojan School of Architecture and Design, Maharashtra stood the same at 44 for the General category Home State candidates.

Symbiosis International University conducts it's own entrance exam known as Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) .SET is a gateway for students to get admission to various undergraduate courses such as Management, Law, Mass Communication, Computer Studies, Engineering, Economics, and Liberal Arts.

Candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying exam can appear for OEE conducted by SPPU. For the same, students can apply online on the 'PG Admission' portal of the university. The admission is subject to candidates' passing the qualifying exam. For admission to courses offered at the affiliated/ unaided colleges under SPPU, it is suggested that the candidates must visit/ contact the shortlisted institute. It must be noted that the application fee for OEE is INR 600 (for General category students) and INR 400 (for reserved category candidates) for a single course.

Yes, it is possible to join UNIPUNE for via CAT scores. The university also considers scores in ATMA, MAT, XAT, etc. for admission. Thus, applicants who have not appeared and secured valid scores in CAT can apply for the course through the scores of different examinations. Aspirants can also get admission in MBA based on MAH CET scores via Maharashtra CAP rounds.

Department of Management Sciences, Pune University MBA often sees a very high cutoff. For MAH CET, the closing round went as high as 99.89 percentile based on 2025 data. For admissions through CAT/ MAT/ CMAT, the cutoff required ranges from 80 percentile - 90 percentile depending on the category. This however, is an estimated cutoff only and is subjective.

BA LLB admission at SPPU is aligned with MH (Law) CET dates. Admission is administered through Maharashtra CET. Online registration for Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for BA LLB is open currently.

There are over 1300 seats available for BA LLB programme in the affiliated colleges of SPPU. Out of the total seats, 85% seats are reserved for candidates with Maharashtra domicile.

Yes, students who are not from Maharashtra can get admission in BA LLB at SPPU if they qualify eligibility and selection criteria. There are 85% seats reserved for Maharashtra candidates. However, 15% seats are open to candidates who are not from Maharashtra.
