For admission to BTech at Sikkim Manipal University, candidates have to complete the application process. The BTech application process is copmletely online. Candidates are required to fill out two different application forms i.e. SMIT online test 2025 and the SMU application form for admission to the BTech progarmme. For the SMIT entrance test candidates must visit the SMIT online test's official website and apply for the online exam.

Candidates need to clear the entrance exam and fulfil the eligibility criteria for Sikkim Manipal University B.Tech course admissions. The national entrance exams accepted is JEE Main and the University Entrance Exam is Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology entrance test.
To be eligible for the entrance exam, candidates must have passed their class 12 with a minimum of 50% for the General category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC category in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, or Biology. Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma in engineering from a State Board of Technical Education with a minimum of 50% for the General category and 45% for the SC/ST/OBC category are also eligible. Candidates appearing for their qualifying examination may also apply for the entrance exam.
Yes, you can join Sikkim University with or without entrance exams. The University offers admission via an entrance exam and merit based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying exam.
