As per the Sikkim Manipal University's admission guidelines, the Department of Management accepts only graduate students who has 50% aggregate (45% for Reserved Category) in theis bachelor's degree. The PG-level course is offered across nine specialisations such as MBA in Finance, HR, Marketing, Systems, Operations, Project, Quality, Banking, and International Business. The programme curriculum is spread across four semesters and conducts regular training and development programmes for Government officers, professional managers, and students. SMU also offers an MBA as a dual degree and an integrated degree such Integrated BCA + MBA, Integrated BBA+MBA,  Artificial Intelligence and Data Science + MBA, and many more.

SMU has started the admission process for 2026. The application portal for the BBA course was open on November 15, 2025 and the last date to apply for the BBA course is June 30, 2026. Further, the BBA admission counselling will be held from July 5, 2026.
